This role requires technical mastery, drives project execution, and works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver results. The Sr. Program Engineer influences key decisions, supports continuous improvement efforts, and communicates regularly with Race Tire Engineering Leadership and our Nashville Motorsports colleagues. Extensive travel is required for this position, including weekend travel up to 15 weekends per year.Responsibilities\nDeliver on the planning and execution of complex tire engineering projects and programs.\nDevelop and implement project plans, schedules, and resource requirements.\nMonitor project performance, identify risks, and take action to resolve issues and minimize delays.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives that improve efficiency and performance.\nDemonstrate technical mastery and support engineering standards, specifications, and best practices.\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\nCommunicate project status, challenges, and recommendations to leadership.\nSupport the selection of materials, equipment, suppliers, and other project resources as needed.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field.\n\nTypically requires:4-6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; OR\n2-3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree,\nEquivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nStrong project leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nProven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders.\nWillingness to travel up to 15 weekends per year to race and test events. \nAt Bridgestone, you are Free to Be\nWe believe people can only provide superior service and quality to others when they feel safe bringing their chosen version of themselves to work.
