In this role, you’ll help design, build, and maintain highly scalable batch and streaming data pipelines, optimizing performance and ensuring robust data quality across the enterprise.\nYou’ll work closely with senior engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver reliable and efficient data solutions.\nThe ideal candidate will have a solid engineering mindset, hands-on experience across the full data lifecycle, and a passion for modern cloud and AI-driven data ecosystems.\nWhat you'll do:\nDesign, develop, and optimize data pipelines for both batch and streaming workloads using AWS + Databricks.\n\nImplement data models, transformations, and ingestion frameworks following best practices (e.g., Medallion architecture: Bronze-Silver-Gold)\n\nManage and maintain ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory, Fabric Pipelines, or equivalent tools.\n\nDevelop and maintain high-performance SQL queries and analytical models for reporting and analytics.\n\nEnsure data quality, reliability, and lineage through testing, monitoring, and documentation.\n\nCollaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.\n\nManage version control, branching, and CI/CD processes using Git.\n\nDrive adoption of engineering best practices, including modular code design, testing, and automation.\n\nWhat you’ll bring:\nMust-Have Skills\n3 to 5+ years of experience in data engineering projects spanning batch and streaming data workloads.\n\nStrong Python proficiency, including a strong command of NumPy, Pandas, and related data-processing libraries.\n\nStrong SQL skills - capable of building efficient, production-grade transformations and analytical models.\n\nProven experience with AWS + Databricks, particularly in Delta Lake or Lakehouse environments.\n\nStrong understanding of data modeling (Star/Snowflake), Medallion architecture (Bronze-Silver-Gold), and incremental/CDC design patterns.\n\nHands-on experience with ETL/ELT orchestration (Azure Data Factory, Fabric Pipelines, or equivalent).\n\nProficient with Git for version control, branching strategies, and CI/CD integration - this is essential.\n\nExcellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.\n\nGood-to-Have Skills\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Claude, or similar productivity-enhancing environments.\n\nExposure to Power BI, Fabric Data Warehouse, and Semantic Models (DAX).\n\nKnowledge of data governance, lineage, and data quality frameworks.\n\nExperience with data platforms built in AWS.\n\nUnderstanding of DevOps principles and cloud cost optimization for data workloads.\n\nExperience integrating machine learning models or LLM-based workflows into data pipelines.\n\nOur Culture and Benefits\nBridgit values its team, they are the heart of how we build this business.
