This is a senior leadership role at the intersection of product strategy, lending operations, and technology - working directly with the executive team to define where our lending product goes next, and accountable for making it happen.\nWhat you’ll do:\nOwn the end-to-end product strategy for Bridgit’s lending platform, from origination and credit decisioning through to settlement and post-settlement servicing.\n\nShape and execute a multi-year roadmap that balances customer outcomes, regulatory requirements, and commercial growth targets.\n\nLead Phase 2 of our ERHL product expansion - including quote scenario tools, open banking integration, arrears automation, and discharge workflow improvements.\n\nLead a cross-functional squad of product managers, engineers, designers, and lending operations specialists.\n\nDrive stakeholder alignment across technology, credit, compliance, and finance - translating lending complexity into clear product decisions.\n\nBuild and own business cases for strategic lending initiatives, taking them from first principles through board approval and into delivery.\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n10+ years in product management, with deep foundations in a senior or director-level lending or financial services role.\n\nDeep understanding of Australian mortgage origination, servicing, and compliance - APRA guidelines, responsible lending obligations, and the broker distribution model.\n\nProven ability to build and execute complex product roadmaps in regulated environments.\n\nStrong commercial acumen - you can own a P&L narrative, build a business case from scratch, and defend it to a CFO.\n\nExperience working with engineering teams in an agile environment; comfortable reading a pull request or a system architecture diagram.\n\nExceptional communication and influencing skills - you can make complex lending logic land with a board, a broker, or a borrower.\n\nBonus points for:\nExperience with open banking or CDR data products.\n\nBackground in fintech or neobank lending platforms.\n\nFamiliarity with NestJS/Node backend systems or Vue-based CRM environments.\n\nOur culture and benefits\nBridgit values its team - they’re the heart of how we build this business.
