Working across customer, broker and internal tools, you’ll collaborate closely with product and engineering to translate ideas and designs into intuitive, high-quality user interfaces that feel consistent, considered and genuinely easy to use.\nBeyond delivery, you’ll help raise the bar for UI and UX across the business; challenging conventions, refining our front-end codebase and influencing how we think about design-led development. Your work will directly impact how customers experience their home-owning journey and help set the standard for how modern lending products should look and feel.\nWhat you’ll do:\nBuild and develop performant, delightful user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.\n\nCollaborate with the product & tech teams to implement feature designs across our customer and internal software.\n\nWrite robust, well-tested code and proactively identify areas for technical improvement or refactor.\n\nShare ideas and improvements backed by sound technical reasoning.\n\nExecute AI-led engineering to design, build, and accelerate the delivery of modern applications.\n\nContribute to design and code reviews, support peers, and maintain the technical bar of the team.\n\nMentor and elevate other engineers, championing engineer best practices and a culture of quality.\n\nWhat we're looking for:\n5 years + working as a front end developer.\n\n5+ years experience with ReactJS, Next.js, and React Native.\n\nStrong Javascript and Typescript fundamentals and deep understanding of the web platform.\n\nHands-on experience building and shipping mobile applications.\n\nExperience working with Expo framework and mobile deployment workflows.\n\nStrong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design patterns.\n\nExperience integrating mobile applications with APIs and third-party services.\n\nFamiliarity with Apple App Store and Google Play Store release processes.\n\nExperience working with AI-driven solutions is a strong plus.\n\nComfortable taking ownership of features end-to-end from architecture to delivery and thrive in environments where you drive the “how”.\n\nYou enjoy mentoring others, offering constructive feedback, and lifting the technical bar.\n\nExperience with modern UI frameworks and component libraries such as ShadCN, Radix UI, Primevue or equivalent.\n\nThinks from first principles and can break problems down to fundamentals instead of relying on patterns or libraries by default.\n\nAmbitious individual who has a passion for UI, UX and be part of a growing business.\n\nPositive attitude to the day to day with good interpersonal skills.\n\nAttention to detail in documentation and ticket descriptions.\n\nStrong communication skills.\n\nOur Culture and Benefits\nBridgit values its team, they are the heart of how we build this business.
