Reporting to the Product Director - Mortgages, you'll own the product's roadmap and performance end to end. That runs from understanding what brokers and customers need through to shipping improvements that make bridging faster, simpler and more competitive.\nMust have experience specifically with Bridging loans (just to save you applying if you don't have it).\n\nWhat you’ll do:\nOwn the product strategy, roadmap and performance for bridging finance, with clear success metrics across conversion, time to approval, customer outcomes and commercial performance.\n\nBuild a deep understanding of our brokers and customers, using research, feedback and data to find the problems most worth solving.\n\nUse competitor insight across price, policy and product to identify where bridging needs to evolve, and bring clear recommendations to the Product Director - Mortgages.\n\nPartner with Credit to understand how policy shapes the bridging experience, including peak debt, end debt, serviceability and valuations. Identify where changes to product and policy can improve approval speed and quality.\n\nGet hands-on with solution design, including process flows, wireframes, prototypes and user stories, to turn concepts into developer-ready features.\n\nBreak large initiatives into smaller releases that each deliver value and build towards the longer-term roadmap.\n\nWork closely with Engineering, Design, Platform, Operations, Credit, Distribution and Compliance to deliver on time and to a high standard.\n\nLead testing and rollout, then measure results after launch and feed what you learn back into the roadmap.\n\nBuild business cases for significant bridging initiatives, with success measures defined before work begins.\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n6+ years' experience in product management, including ownership of a product or major product area.\n\nExperience in lending (ideally residential mortgages), bridging finance and a working understanding of credit policy and the broker distribution model.\n\nA track record of using data and customer insight to make product decisions and measure outcomes.\n\nStrong commercial judgement: you understand how price, policy and product combine to win in market.\n\nComfort working closely with engineering teams and getting into technical detail.\n\nClear, confident communication with everyone from brokers to executives.\n\nA proactive approach and comfort with ambiguity.\n\nBonus points for:\nExperience with bridging, equity release or specialist lending products.\n\nAny exposure to tools like Jira, Trello, Notion, or similar.\n\nStartup or scaleup experience.\n\nWhy Join Us?\nBridgit values its team, they are the heart of how we build this business.
