Our workplace reflects this commitment-with collaborative environments, meaningful benefits, and a culture that supports both career growth and personal well-being.Whether you’re caring for children or powering the systems and partnerships that make it all possible, at Bright Horizons,you’re the difference.\nThis is a hybrid role in our Newton, MA office.\nWhat you will be doing:\nDesign system enhancements and business process changes geared to drive best practices that improve efficiency of staff, accuracy of results, and usefulness of data.\n\nCritically evaluate business requirements, providing alternative solutions where applicable.\n\nWork in conjunction with outside vendors in a shared development environment\n\nWork with Application Support, QA, and development to support application issues, changes and modifications\n\nProactively identify ways in which system and process changes can improve efficiency of key users, customer service, accuracy of results, and/or completeness of data.\n\nAct as a change agent to help ensure that the newly implemented system/process enhance the success of the project and increase the project’s chance of meeting the business needs\n\nProvide updates and feedback to manager on progress of development.\n\nProvide details to project manager and project team regarding updates, schedules and issues\n\nDeliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations that are effectively tailored to the intended audience.\n\nResolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.\n\nTeamwork\nConsistently acknowledge and appreciate each team member's contributions\n\nWork with others from different organizations from several\n\nDecision making authority\nAbility to exercise sound judgment to meet deadlines and prioritize projects and tasks.\n\nAble to work with minimum supervision, but, when necessary, consult with the senior management of IT and lines of business for direction and/or clarity.\n\nWorks closely with, internal users, IT Development Resources, IT and Business Line of Business Management.\n\nThe Developer must be able to perform job functions with minimal oversight from management.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 3+ additional years of experience would be considered in lieu of the applicable degree.\n\n3+ years of related work experience in .net web application development and/or Microsoft dynamics development using Plugins, Power automate, JavaScript, etc.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong communication skills are essential. Individual must be comfortable working with a variety of user groups at all levels within the organization\n\nStrong analytical skills and critical thinking to analyze problems, document needs and communicate these needs to a variety of audiences.\n\nThe individual must have a proven ability to understand business requirements in a variety of functional areas and the flexibility to adapt to new and changing information.\n\nAbility to prioritize and manage many competing priorities and thrive in a fast paced environment.\n\nAbility to work in a virtual collaborative environment\n\nExperience developing in D365 using configuration, customizations, Javascript, Plugins, PowerAutomate is required.\n\nASP.Net MVC framework experience is preferred.\n\nWell versed in writing clean HTML, CSS, JavaScript. jQuery experience is a plus.\n\nSkilled in using Microsoft SQL Server. Writing optimized SQL and following best practices for relational databases.\n\nEntity framework experience is a plus.\n\nExperience with maintaining and improving to an existing codebase, focusing on improving performance, scalability and user experience.\n\nExperience supporting Dynamics based applications in L2/L3 support capacity preferred.\n\nFamiliar with Scrum / Agile methodologies.\n\nThe individual must have a strong customer service philosophy and skills; thrive in a team environment as well as in an individual setting; demonstrate impeccable organization, attention to detail and follow-up skills; have a willingness to take on new projects; be a self-starter, highly motivated, results-driven and goal-oriented, comfortable setting aggressive goals and exceeding them.\n\nAt this time, Bright Horizons will not sponsor an applicant for employment authorization/visa for this position.\nBepart of a community where people grow, futures are shaped, and lives are changed. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening.
