Whether you’re caring for children or powering the systems and partnerships that make it all possible, at Bright Horizons, you’re the difference.\nEssential Functions/Responsibilities\nLead and manage a team of software developers and architects.\nDesign and implement scalable, high-performance software solutions using Azure/AWS services, .Net/Java/Node.js.\nDevelop web applications with a focus on user experience using Angular/React.\nEnsure code quality and maintainability by conducting code reviews and applying best practices.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project goals.\nProvide technical leadership in .NET and related technologies.\nActively participate in the hands-on development of the application set, demonstrating technical expertise and fostering a culture of quality and innovation.\nMaintain comprehensive documentation for all applications and provide regular progress reports to management, ensuring transparency and accountability.\nDrive continuous improvement and innovation in software architecture and development processes.\nManage project timelines, resources, and risk assessments.\nMentor and develop team members through coaching, performance reviews, and goal setting.\nMinimum requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related field\n8+ years of application development and application development management\nPreferred qualifications/skills:\nMaster’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related field preferred\n8 years of experience in software development with a focus on Azure/AWS, .NET/Java/Node.js, and Angular/React.\nProven experience in software architecture design and implementation.\nStrong understanding of cloud security practices and experience implementing security measures in Azure/AWS environments.\nExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, particularly within Azure/ AWS ecosystems.\nKnowledge of DDD, Event driven, Microservices architectural patterns is highly desired.\nStrong leadership skills and experience managing a software development team.\nExperience managing all phases of the project life cycle, including running project prioritization meetings, post-installation project post-mortem meetings and a proven track record of multi-tasking, meeting deadlines and delivering projects on budget.\nExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\nTravel as required.\nAt this time, Bright Horizons will not sponsor an applicant for employment authorization/visa for this position.\nBe part of a community where people grow, futures are shaped, and lives are changed. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening.
