Whether you’re caring for children or powering the systems and partnerships that make it all possible, at Bright Horizons, you’re the difference.\nThis Hybrid role requires in-person work 3 days a week at our Newton, MA headquarters.\nResponsibilities:\nProvide hands-on development in the application development, unit test, and rollout of strategic web and Mobile initiatives.\n\nDevelop both front-end and back-end for web/mobile applications, working with a hybrid internal/vendor team, to support various lines of business and functional areas\n\nWork with Business Owners and Business Analysis teams, to create business requirements.\n\nDocument technical requirements and technical specifications for Web/Mobile applications (and related integrated solutions) and provide technical solutions to support those needs.\n\nProvide feedback (and approval) on technical designs and methods to support business requirements.\n\nEffectively communicate relevant project planning and status information to leadership/management.\n\nDeliver engaging, informative, well-organized demos/presentations that are effectively tailored to the intended audience, as needed.\n\nMinimum Requirements:\n5+ years of development experience required\n\nBachelor’s Degree or higher in computer science or related field. 3 years of additional experience would be considered in lieu of degree.\n\nExperience in back-end development using .NET core/ .NET, C#, Unit test, REST API, SQL Server.\n\nExperience in front-end development using Angular, HTML5, SCSS/CSS, Typescript or JavaScript, Unit test framework such as Jasmine, Jest, NgRx, RxJS, material design/Bootstrap.\n\nExperience using Azure PAAS and SAAS resources like Azure Service Bus, Key Vault, Azure Data Factory, Azure Pipelines, Azure Storage, Dynatrace, or AppInsight.\n\nPreferred Requirements:\n5+ years of experience in the Microsoft Technology stack\n\nKnowledge of front-end code quality tools like ESLint, Prettier, SonarQube, RESTful API design and client consumption, Micro-front-end Architecture, Angular SSR.\n\nKnowledge of Parallel programming, Cosmos DB, Redis/Distributed cache, Asp.net, RabbitMQ.\n\nKnowledge of AKS, Microservice Architecture and event driven architecture, Chatbot, APIM.\n\nExperience using Azure DevOps /GIT based source control systems.\n\nKnowledge of OAuth/OIDC, SAML, SSO.\n\nStrong experience with building and maintaining a reusable component library.\n\nExperience with maintaining and improving an existing codebase, focusing on improving performance, scalability, and user experience.\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills and critical thinker.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff and business partners.\n\nPassion for emerging technologies such as AI Assisted/Agentic development\n\nAt this time, Bright Horizons will not sponsor an applicant for employment authorization/visa for this position.\nThe annual salary for this position is between $115,000 - $151,000. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening.
