We are unable to sponsor new H-1B visa petitions for this position.\nJob SummaryBright Vision Technologies is seeking a highly experienced PLM Technical Consultant with 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms, with deep expertise in PTC Windchill and/or Siemens Teamcenter. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of PLM platform architecture, administration, upgrades, integrations, cloud deployment, performance optimization, and enterprise system support. This role requires hands-on technical leadership in designing, maintaining, and modernizing mission-critical PLM environments while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and enterprise IT teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, install, configure, administer, and optimize enterprise PTC Windchill and/or Siemens Teamcenter environments.\n\nLead PLM platform upgrades, migrations, patch management, environment refreshes, and modernization initiatives while minimizing business disruption.\n\nManage application servers, web servers, databases, file vaults, indexing services, and CAD integrations to ensure high availability and optimal system performance.\n\nDesign and implement High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), backup, and business continuity strategies for enterprise PLM platforms.\n\nDevelop automation solutions using Shell, Python, PowerShell, Ansible, or similar scripting and configuration management tools.\n\nSupport and optimize integrations between PLM platforms and enterprise applications including ERP, MES, CAD, ALM, and Manufacturing systems.\n\nMonitor system health, troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term performance improvements.\n\nAdminister security, authentication, authorization, user provisioning, and access control in accordance with enterprise governance policies.\n\nCollaborate with engineering, manufacturing, DevOps, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable PLM solutions.\n\nDevelop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, upgrade guides, and disaster recovery runbooks.\n\nLead technical reviews, establish PLM administration standards, and mentor junior administrators and technical consultants.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.\n\n10+ years of professional experience administering and supporting enterprise PLM platforms, including significant experience with PTC Windchill and/or Siemens Teamcenter.\n\nExtensive experience performing PLM upgrades, migrations, patching, system administration, and platform optimization.\n\nStrong knowledge of application servers, web servers, file vault management, indexing services, and enterprise PLM architecture.\n\nExperience integrating PLM platforms with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), CAD tools, and enterprise business applications.\n\nStrong understanding of Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL databases, along with Linux/Unix system administration.\n\nHands-on experience implementing High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), backup strategies, and performance tuning.\n\nExperience developing automation using Python, Shell, PowerShell, Ansible, or similar scripting technologies.\n\nExcellent troubleshooting, communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience deploying and supporting PLM platforms on AWS, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), or hybrid cloud environments.\n\nKnowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation), DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.\n\nPTC Windchill or Siemens Teamcenter professional certifications.\n\nExperience supporting large-scale CAD integrations including Creo, NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.\n\nFamiliarity with ThingWorx, Industrial IoT (IIoT), Digital Thread, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), or Smart Manufacturing initiatives.\n\nWould you like to know more about this opportunity?
