Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Platform Developer with strong hands-on experience in Salesforce development, customization, and integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, security models, and Salesforce development tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Salesforce Platform development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Apex
• Strong experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Strong knowledge of SOQL/SOSL
• Solid understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce Data Security Model
• Good knowledge of Organization-Wide Defaults (OWD)
• Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX (SFDX)
• Strong understanding of Salesforce development and deployment best practices

Required Certifications

Candidates must possess the following Salesforce certifications:

• Salesforce Platform App Builder
• Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1)
• Salesforce Platform Developer II (PD2)
• Salesforce JavaScript Developer I

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce applications and custom solutions.
• Develop scalable solutions using Apex and LWC.
• Create and optimize SOQL/SOSL queries.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Ensure solutions comply with Salesforce Governor Limits and platform best practices.
• Work with Salesforce security concepts, including OWD, roles, profiles, sharing rules, and permissions.
• Utilize Salesforce DX/SFDX for development and deployment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize Salesforce application performance.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective Salesforce solutions.
• Follow Salesforce coding, testing, deployment, and documentation standards.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, strong expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce integrations, and SFDX, along with all four required Salesforce certifications.

Important: This is an onsite position in Lansing, MI.
