Role Summary:Client is seeking an experienced SAP PP Functional Consultant(S/4HANA) to support and optimize our manufacturing and aftermarket service operations. This role focuses primarily on SAP PP configuration within a discrete, engineer‑to‑order and make‑to‑order environment. Experience in SAP PM and/or SAP QM is beneficial and considered a strong plus. \nResponsibilities:\nPerform hands-on SAP configuration across PP (primary), with exposure to PM or QM considered a plus.\n\nAnalyze and improve ETO/MTO manufacturing workflows and aftermarket service‑to‑repair operations.\n\nGather and document detailed business requirements from Engineering, Operations, Service Centers, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.\n\nMap complex manufacturing, repair, and compliance requirements to SAP functionality to ensure regulatory adherence and operational efficiency.\n\nSupport and lead SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, integrations, and global rollouts.\n\nDevelop test plans and execute unit, integration, and UAT testing aligned with Client quality standards.\n\nProvide post‑go‑live support for manufacturing and repair processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.\n\nCreate and deliver user documentation, work instructions, and training for manufacturing and service center teams.\n\nMonitor SAP performance, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement across shop floors and service centers.\n\nStay current with SAP innovations and best practices related to discrete manufacturing, engineered products, and service repair/MRO.\n\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field. Work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\n\n15+ years of SAP experience with a primary focus on PP.\n\nHands‑on SAP configuration experience supporting discrete manufacturing and service/repair (MRO) environments.\n\nDeep knowledge of production master data, routings, BOMs, variant configuration, production orders, and shop floor execution.\n\nStrong understanding of service/repair workflows including service orders, equipment master, notifications, and refurbishment.\n\nExperience with quality, compliance, traceability, and ISO‑driven environments.\n\nAbility to translate business requirements into SAP solutions and clearly communicate across technical and business teams.\n\nExperience in global SAP projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.\n\nStrong documentation, testing, and training capabilities.\n\nPreferred:\nExperience in industrial equipment, flow control, rotating equipment, oil & gas, or similar manufacturing/service industries.\n\nSAP S/4HANA implementation experience with PP.
