building backend services, APIs, integrations, internal tools, and frontend components - while also supporting cloud infrastructure, deployments, monitoring, and automation.\nYou’ll write production-grade code, improve developer workflows, and help keep our systems fast, secure, reliable, and scalable.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign, develop, and maintain full stack applications, backend services, APIs, and internal tools.\nWrite clean, maintainable code using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Go (Golang).\nBuild and enhance frontend or internal tooling using React.js or similar frameworks.\nDevelop RESTful APIs, integrations, and service-to-service communication.\nBuild automation scripts and internal tools to improve deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting.\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable releases.\nConfigure and manage AWS services, including ECS, EKS, Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.\nOptimize and maintain databases, including PostgreSQL and Amazon Aurora.\nUse RabbitMQ or similar tools for inter-service communication.\nContainerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.\nUse infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.\nBuild and maintain monitoring, logging, alerts, dashboards, and observability practices using tools such as New Relic, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana to improve system reliability, performance visibility, and troubleshooting.\nCollaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and development teams to deliver secure, scalable releases.\nUse tools such as Jira Service Management/Jira Service Desk to support issue tracking, escalation workflows, production support, and cross-functional communication with QA, Customer Support, and Development teams.\nSupport production troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system reliability improvements.\nUse AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub, Copilot, or similar platforms to support development, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.\nRequirements\nMust-Have Experience\n5+ years of professional software development experience in a full stack, backend, DevOps, or cloud systems role.\nStrong proficiency with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.js or another modern frontend framework.\nSolid experience designing and building backend services, RESTful APIs, integrations, and service-based systems.\nIntermediate hands-on experience with AWS services, including ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, EC2, S3, and CloudWatch.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git-based workflows.\nStrong database experience across relational and non-relational systems, including PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and MongoDB.\nFamiliarity with RabbitMQ, Redis, microservices, serverless architectures, GraphQL, real-time messaging, or similar distributed system technologies.\nExperience with observability and monitoring tools such as New Relic, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.\nUnderstanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, application security, cloud security best practices, security reviews, and vulnerability management.\nExperience building tools or solutions for developers, operations, QA, customer support, or other internal users, including exposure to Jira Service Management/Jira Service Desk workflows.\nExposure to SaaS, fleet management, logistics, telematics, IoT, or connected device ecosystems.\nDemonstrated use of AI-powered development tools for coding, documentation, testing, reviewing, and troubleshooting.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nSuccess in this role means you can contribute across the technical stack while improving the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our cloud systems.\nYou write clean, secure, maintainable code, build practical solutions, automate repetitive work, improve internal workflows, and help the team ship better software faster.\nAttributes We’re Looking For\nWe’re looking for someone who is accountable, resourceful, proactive, collaborative, reliable under pressure, tech savvy, results-oriented, service minded, fast-moving, and committed to continuous learning.\nOur Values\nAt BrightOrder, how we work matters as much as what we build.
