This includes effective communication with suppliers and being reliable stakeholder to the supplier as well as to ensure that all accounts are paid on time to qualify for settlement discounts.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCheck that invoices are accurately captured on accounting system\nMake sure payment is on time and accurate.\nEnsure invoices balance with statement and ensure no loss of settlement discounts.\nCheck commitment list with payments.\nCorrect supplier accounts on a daily basis\nMatch and check invoices against orders\nAccurately prepare monthly reconciliations of creditors accounts statements\nCheck banking details due to fraud.\nMake sure accounts are correctly balanced.\nOpening of new accounts\nManaging the age analyses\nChecking of files monthly\nMarking the commitments list monthly\nAssisting with queries and payments of invoices\nEnsure all credits are passed.\nApply disciplinary action when required.\nManaging creditors control totals at month end.\nAbility to act professionally and maintain confidentiality.\nPrepare swot/minutes report of meetings.\nEnforce company rules /regulations and provide training as well as guidance thereon.\nMaintain Housekeeping must be in order on a monthly basis.\nPerform any work-related task as delegated by the superior\n REQUIREMENTS:Matric or 3x Completed Intercept courses equating to total of 120 credits\nBrights Induction (Service excellence)\n2 Years minimum experience in a similar role\nAccounting training\nAbility to handle pressure\nAbility to communicate effectively (verbal & written)\nPlanning, time management & organizing skills\nExcellent professional work standard\nProblem solving skills\nAttention to detail and high level of accuracy\nAccounting software package\nMicrosoft office (Internet, E-mails, Word & Excel)\nKindly note that if you are not contacted within 2 weeks after the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful.\nWe are committed to having staff that reflect the diversity of our nation we will conduct our recruitment and appointments in line with the Company’s equity targets and we are committed to improving our positions.
