Safe, secure, and engaging solutions that benefit communities and meet player needs.\nOverview\nAs an Fan Folder Operator, you’ll run the unwind system that feeds raw ticket stock into Brightstar Lottery’s printing and finishing lines. This role ensures proper tension, material alignment, and smooth flow, while troubleshooting minor issues and supporting continuous production. It requires precision, documentation accuracy, and strict adherence to secure-handling processes. Work is performed onsite at the Lakeland, Florida facility. This role will work 12-hour shifts, with scheduling based on production needs and may rotate across stations as required.\nWhat You'll Do\nSet up and operate unwind machinery to feed ticket stock into production lines.\nMonitor material flow, tension, alignment, and roll condition.\nVerify roll labels, material type, and measurements before use.\nPerform in-process checks and complete roll-change documentation.\nConduct minor adjustments and identify issues affecting material feed.\nSupport press or finishing operators during changeovers to maintain efficiency.\nFollow all secure-print and safety protocols.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWhat You'll Bring\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nExperience in machine operation, material handling, or industrial equipment.\nAbility to understand material specifications and complete accurate documentation.\nMechanical aptitude and ability to monitor moving material safely.\nAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required\nWhat Will Make You Stand Out\nExperience operating unwinders, tension-control systems, or roll-fed equipment.\nBackground in printing, finishing, or continuous-feed manufacturing environments.\nAbility to troubleshoot issues involving alignment, tension, or material defects.\nPhysicalRequirements\nAbility to stand or walk throughout 12-hour production shifts is required\nRegularly lift 20-40 lbs; items over 50 lbs require a team lift or use of approved equipment\nPerform bending, reaching, twisting, and material handling throughout the shift\nUse hand tools and complete repetitive tasks\nWork in an environment with noise, heat, inks, paper dust, and moving equipment\nVisually inspect printed or packaged materials with accuracy\nSuccess Profile\nLeading Complexity\nLeading People\nLeading the Business\nLeading Self\n#LI-MS1 #ONSITE\nAt Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $21.00 per hour. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower. The Company complies with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.\nBase pay is one part of our Total Rewards program. Non-exempt roles are eligible for irregular discretionary bonuses.
