For more information, please visit www.brightstarlottery.com.\nOverview\nOur Network Operations Center is seeking a skilled and service-oriented Network Engineer - Level 2 Support to join our growing NOC team.\nThis role is ideal for a mid-level network professional with strong troubleshooting experience and exposure to managed services or multi-tenant environments.\nYou will handle advanced incidents, lead problem resolution across network platforms, and support new service implementations, acting as a bridge between Tier 1 support and engineering leadership.\nResponsibilities\nServe as a key escalation point for complex network and connectivity issues escalated from Tier 1\nDiagnose and resolve issues related to routing, switching, VPN, firewalls, wireless, and WAN optimization\nPerform configuration changes, device provisioning, firmware upgrades, and health remediations\nCollaborate with vendors and carriers to resolve circuit-level and infrastructure issues\nDocument root causes and create or update SOPs for recurring problems\nSupport onboarding of new client networks, including validation, device setup, and monitoring integration\nParticipate in project delivery efforts (e.g., firewall upgrades, site cutovers, SD-WAN deployments)\nAssist in the review of alerts, logs, and performance metrics to proactively identify issues\nMentor Tier 1 staff and contribute to technical training and skill development\nMaintain accurate records of all configurations and network changes\nKey Tasks\nIncident Escalation and Resolution:\nTroubleshoot Layer 2/3 issues, VPN tunnels, ACLs, and NAT\nDiagnose packet loss, latency, and failover issues across sites\nChange Management and Configuration:\nPerform firewall and switch configurations\nExecute approved changes during maintenance windows and document outcomes\nNetwork Monitoring and Health Reviews:\nAnalyze trends from monitoring systems\nIdentify recurring issues and create problem tickets or service improvement plans\nClient and Carrier Coordination:\nOpen and manage tickets with ISPs, cloud providers, or hardware vendors\nJoin client calls as a technical resource to explain root cause and remediation steps\nSupport Onboarding and Projects:\nAssist in provisioning and documentation for new clients or locations\nConfigure and ship edge devices, firewalls, and access points\nDocumentation and Knowledge Sharing:\nMaintain detailed documentation of network architecture and device configurations\nProvide feedback to improve Tier 1 troubleshooting guides and SOPs\nQualifications\n3-5 years of hands-on networking experience in a NOC, MSP, or enterprise setting\nStrong understanding of IP routing (BGP, OSPF), switching, and Layer 2/3 concepts\nProven experience configuring and supporting Fortinet, Cisco, or Palo Alto devices\nAbility to diagnose WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and firewall-related issues\nFamiliarity with NMS/RMM platforms (e.g., SolarWinds, Zabbix)\nExperience working with telcos/ISPs and managing circuit escalations\nProficient in CLI tools, packet captures, and log analysis\nExcellent written documentation and communication skills\nCertifications preferred: Fortinet NSE 4/5, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent\nSuccess Profile\nLeading the Business\nLeading Complexity\nLeading People\nLeading Self\n#LI-PZ1 #LI-Hybrid\nThis information reflects Brightstar Lottery’s good-faith estimate of compensation for this position at the time of publication. Actual compensation will be determined in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and internal compensation policies. Factors that we consider include, but are not limited to, role, career level, performance, skills, level of expertise, experience, location, market competitiveness, and internal equity. The estimated starting compensation range is 162,294 zł - 249,683 zł. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.\nIn addition to base salary, employees may be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus with a set target (10% of salary) aligned with individual and company performance.
