For more information, please visit www.brightstarlottery.com.\nShort Description\nBrightstar Lottery is seeking a Senior Analytics Developer - Power BI & Snowflake, you will support Brightstar Lottery's enterprise reporting, analytics, and data modernization initiatives by designing and delivering scalable, high-performing business intelligence solutions. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders, data engineers, and software engineering teams to build trusted analytics platforms, governed data models, and actionable insights that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI semantic models, reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions\nBuild and optimize Snowflake data models, SQL transformations, and data pipelines that support reporting and analytics\nApply advanced data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and performance optimization techniques to improve solution effectiveness\nDesign scalable and governed analytics solutions that provide consistent business metrics and definitions\nCollaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions\nDevelop and maintain real-time and near-real-time reporting capabilities where appropriate\nDrive best practices for Power BI development, deployment, governance, and lifecycle management\nImplement and support CI/CD, testing, monitoring and documentation processes\nEvaluate new technologies and AI-assisted development capabilities to improve delivery, quality, and efficiency\nTroubleshoot data quality, performance, refresh, security, and authentication issues\nMentor team members while contributing to architecture discussions, technical leadership, and best practices\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience\nMinimum 7 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, data engineering, or software development roles\nExpertise in Power BI including semantic modeling, DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service\nDemonstrated success building enterprise reporting solutions and analytical data models\nStrong SQL skills coupled with hands-on experience developing solutions in Snowflake\nFamiliarity with source control, CI/CD, testing frameworks, and modern software development practices\nProven analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities\nBackground working within Agile delivery environments\nPreferred\nExperience with Microsoft Fabric or other modern cloud analytics platforms\nKnowledge of Snowflake Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, and Data Sharing capabilities\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Entra ID and enterprise authentication patterns\nExposure to automated testing frameworks and data quality validation processes\nUnderstanding of AI-assisted development, analytics, or testing solutions\nLeadership experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction\nSuccess Profile\nLeading Complexity\nLeading People\nLeading the Business\nLeading Self\n#LI-TC1 #LI-HYBRID\nBrightstar is committed to sustaining a workforce that reflects the diversity of the global customers and communities we serve, and to creating a fair and inclusive culture that enables all our employees to feel valued, respected and engaged.
