For more information, please visit www.brightstarlottery.com.\nMain Responsabilities:\nAct as the technical lead for complex production issues and escalations\nLead troubleshooting activities for critical incidents and major outages\nCoordinate root cause analysis with Engineering, QA, Architecture and DevOps teams\nPromote operational stability, risk mitigation, and service reliability\nCollaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Solution Architects and other project stakeholders\nProvide technical leadership to a team of developers, coordinating day-to-day activities and assigning Jira tickets and tasks.\nPerform complex troubleshooting on the most critical and non-standard issues (e.g., performance incidents, service degradations), leveraging monitoring and observability tools (dashboards, alerts, logs, metrics, traces) to quickly identify and resolve root causes.\nAvailability for 24/7 support to manage and prevent system downtime.\nParticipate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement processes.\nRequirements:\nStrong experience in Application Support or Production Support roles\nSolid background in enterprise backend systems and distributed architectures\nProven experience handling high-severity production incidents\nStrong team leadership skills, with the ability to mentor team members and proactively manage and resolve internal conflicts\nAbility to investigate logs, metrics, and system behaviour to isolate root causes\nAbility to understand and review complex codebases\nExperience with Docker/Kubernetes development.\nExperience with Spring Boot development.\nKnowledge of RESTful services.\nKnowledge of relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL; optionally DB2, Oracle).\nKnowledge of JMS (preferably ActiveMQ Artemis).\nExperience with Agile development processes.\nFluent in English.\nNice to have:\nfamiliarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).\nQualification:\nMaster’s degree in engineering computer science or a related area.\nSoft Skills:\nAbility to work in a team and interact with other departments.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to manage tasks autonomously.\nProactive and self-motivated.\nWillingness to work in regulated, high-reliability environments.\nClear and effective communication, especially under pressure\nAbility to prioritize and make decisions in critical situations\n#LI-YG1 #LI-Hybryd\nSuccess Profile\nLeading Complexity\nLeading People\nLeading the Business\nLeading Self\nThis information reflects Brightstar Lottery’s good-faith estimate of compensation for this position at the time of publication. Actual compensation will be determined in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and internal compensation policies. Factors that we consider include, but are not limited to, role, career level, performance, skills, level of expertise, experience, location, market competitiveness, and internal equity. The estimated starting compensation range is €41.800 - €52.155 The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.\nIn addition to base salary, employees may be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus with a set target (10% of salary) aligned with individual and company performance.
