Lead Quality Engineer

Job requirements

JD: QA Specialist - Marketo Marketing Operations Purpose Ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance across all Marketo campaign builds, data processes, and integrations before production activation. ________________________________________ Major ResponsibilitiesCampaign QA

Validate email builds: copy accuracy, link integrity, image rendering, segmentation logic
Test nurture/triggered workflows: step sequencing, wait times, conditional branches
Audit A/B test setup: variant parity, audience sampling, randomization logic
Verify landing page + form functionality: submission flow, field mapping, GDPR compliance
Cross-browser/device rendering validation for email and web assets

Program QA

Validate web form program end-to-end: capture logic, data routing, confirmation messaging
Test event program flows: registration, confirmation, reminder sends, post-event follow-ups
Audit audience segmentation: filter accuracy, list counts vs. expected, smart list logic
Verify content syndication feeds: data structure, field mappings, sync completion

Data QA

Validate MQL/non-MQL data uploads: schema, normalization, deduplication
Audit data processing scripts/manual uploads for completeness and accuracy
Test Salesforce/third-party sync: lead field mapping, data consistency
Identify and flag data quality issues pre-activation

Third-Party & Integration Testing

Test third-party HTML email rendering and tracking
Validate API integrations and manual data exchanges
Verify platform-to-platform data flow (Marketo ↔ Salesforce, syndication partners, etc.)

2+ years QA in marketing automation or MarTech platforms
Strong Marketo platform knowledge (workflow logic, segmentation, data model)
Attention to detail; test case documentation
Basic SQL/Excel for data validation
HTML literacy (email rendering, form debugging)

Salesforce CRM experience
API and data integration testing
Performance/load testing
Agile/sprint-based QA process
