BRINC is recruiting exceptional engineers to build the next generation of autonomous emergency-response technology, including flight-critical firmware and advanced pilot-assistance capabilities.\nAbout this Role:\nAs a Production Technician, you will play a hands-on role in bringing our products to life. With foundational skills already in place, you will perform detailed work, such as precision soldering, troubleshooting and collaborating with other teams to improve processes. This role begins on second shift (~3:00 PM-11:30 PM), with an anticipated transition to day shift within 4-6 months; shift assignment is subject to change based on business needs.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProduct Assembly:\nFabricate and assemble components using schematics, diagrams and written instructions.\n\nRead and/or create assembly work instructions, repair manuals and liaise with other departments to assemble products.\n\nPerform micro-soldering, rework and reflow tasks.\n\nBuild prototype models based on technical guidelines.\n\nManage and install cables, wiring, splicing as needed.\n\nTesting, Troubleshooting & Quality Assurance:\nInspect, analyze and troubleshoot systems and equipment.\n\nRun tests and interpret results to make effective recommendations.\n\nDiagnose and repair electronic and mechanical issues in prototypes or production models.\n\nDetermine material or replacement needs and a logical method for repair; take appropriate action to meet those needs and make repairs.\n\nRepair, install and inspect electronics or electronic systems as directed through verbal or written instructions, diagrams, drawings or specifications.\n\nCreate or adapt parts as needed to make repairs and improve the performance of various electronics.\n\nEnsure all builds meet established quality standards and specifications.\n\nPerform safety checks to ensure design plans are feasible in various conditions.\n\nDocumentation:\nMaintain accurate records of assembly processes, testing results, repairs and any modifications.\n\nWrite reports, and follow safety regulations and preventative maintenance plans.\n\nProvide feedback on design or process improvements to enhance production efficiency.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration:\nWork closely with engineers and other team members to meet production goals.\n\nFollow and contribute to safety protocols and workplace cleanliness.\n\nQualifications:\nAssociate degree in avionics, electronics, or a similar field; or equivalent relevant experience.\n\nAbility to use hand and power tools.\n\nAbility to use diagnostic tools.\n\nAbility to understand and utilize work instructions and technical manuals.\n\nStrong analytical skills and ability to work independently.\n\nAbility to lift up to 49lbs.\n\nAbility to sit, stand or be on your feet for extended periods of time.\n\nPreferred Skills:\nAbility to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical repairs.\n\nExperience fixing and maintaining drones and knowledge of different drone systems.\n\nBasic knowledge of drone operation and maintenance.\n\nUnderstanding of quality control processes and documentation.\n\nBRINC Culture Values:\nTry the hard stuff\n\nBe innovative - Invent the future\n\nMove fast\n\nListen to end-users\n\nStrive for excellence\n\nDon’t build a dystopia\n\nBe frugal\n\nSave lives through technology\n\nIf you’re interested in this role and in joining BRINC, we hope you’ll apply.
