BRINC is recruiting exceptional engineers to build the next generation of autonomous emergency-response technology, including flight-critical firmware and advanced pilot-assistance capabilities.\nAbout this Role:\nAs our DevOps Engineer, you will own the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of our production systems. You’ll build secure cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment pipelines that power our worldwide real-time services. You’ll partner closely with software, hardware, and autonomy teams to improve system performance, incident response, and developer velocity.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOwn platform design, cloud services uptime, and on-call practices for worldwide real-time services\n\nBuild and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment systems\n\nImplement observability (metrics/logs/tracing), alerting, and incident response/postmortems\n\nDrive capacity planning, disaster recovery, and cost/performance optimization\n\nCollaborate cross-functionally to support live drone data streaming and customer workflows\n\nQualifications:\nDegree in CS or related field, with 5+ years operating production systems and building infrastructure\n\nStrong software engineering fundamentals; comfortable writing production-quality code (Python/Node/Javascript, etc.)\n\nHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and modern cloud patterns\n\nExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and safe release processes\n\nExcellent attention to detail around security, scalability, and performance\n\nAWS infrastructure familiarity (networking, IAM, core services, and production operations)\n\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience building and supporting services that interacts with critical real-time edge devices (drones, robotics, autonomous vehicles)\n\nFamiliarity with containers and service orchestration\n\nExperience with real-time/streaming systems or low-latency distributed services\n\nFamiliarity with security best practices (secrets management, encryption, least privilege)\n\nAbility to work independently in a dynamic environment, take initiative, and communicate effectively\n\nBRINC Culture Values:\nTry the hard stuff\n\nBe innovative - Invent the future\n\nMove fast\n\nListen to end-users\n\nStrive for excellence\n\nDon’t build a dystopia\n\nBe frugal\n\nSave lives through technology\n\nIf you’re interested in this role and in joining BRINC, we hope you’ll apply.
