Individual interest in developing other project services skill sets such as cost controls, scheduling and procurement.\nJob Duties/Responsibilities:\nDevelop TIC estimates for small capital projects (typically up to 15 million)\nDevelop basis of estimates for small capital projects\nCoordinate and present directly to Project Team, Project Managers & Client for review \nAbility to coordinate & organize multiple sources of engineering inputs into a project estimating deliverables\nParticipate in estimate kickoff, internal and external review meetings\nInterest in developing supplemental project services skillsets (cost controls, scheduling, etc.)\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nEducation:\n\nAssociates Degree or higher is preferred\n\nExperience:\n\nMin Yr = 5\n\nTechnical Skills:\n\nAspen In-Plant or Capital Cost Estimator (preferred, but not required) Background in engineering/construction; Strong Microsoft Excel skills; Familiar with scheduling methods and software such as P6, MS Projects\n\nManagement:\n\nNo management experience required\n\nOther Skills:\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nProfessional Development Opportunities:\nDevelop breadth and depth of expertise across a range of projects services disciplines\nObtain certifications and attend industry conferences through AACE\nIndividual field assignments typically each have their own unique requirements.Prior to deployment on any field assignment, you must be able to meet all client-specific site requirements.Should you be unable or unwilling to meet assignment-specific requirements, your continued employment would then be subject to the availability of other assignments whose requirements can be met.These unique requirements may include:\nYou must possess physical mobility (on the ground and at heights). \nYou may be required to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. \nYou may be required to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off platforms/scaffolding/ladders using the appropriate and required fall protection.\nYou must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold, and wind) while wearing the appropriate PPE. This may include but not be limited to a hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves, and leather, steel-toed work boots.\nYou may be required to position yourself to work in confined spaces \nYou may be required to adhere to a client’s random drug testing program prior to entering their site. \nYou may be required to meet a client’s facial hair safety policy prior to entering their site.\nBrindley considers several factors when determining base salary that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, certifications, specific work location, and current market conditions.
