With more than 10 recognitions from our partners, we continue to lead in our markets. \nAbout the roleWe’re looking for a hands-on accounting professional to execute a full books clean-up for a growing multi-location, multi-entity, clinic-based mental healthcare business in the US. Working closely with the CFO, you’ll reconcile, correct and document the books until they are close-ready. It’s a great opportunity to grow into a full Controller role.\nWhat you’ll do\nRevenue cycle & ASC 606: Record contractual allowances, denials and patient responsibility, and reconcile billing and EHR data to the GL.\n\nAR clean-up: Rebuild and reconcile AR by entity, location and payer, apply the reserve methodology and resolve unapplied cash.\n\nAP & accruals: Clean up the AP subledger, perform vendor reconciliations and prepare cutoff and month-end accruals.\n\nPayroll: Prepare accruals for payroll, benefits, bonuses and provider compensation, and reconcile them to the GL.\n\nASC 842 leases: Inventory clinic and equipment leases, and maintain ROU asset and lease liability schedules.\n\nInventory & GL review: Correct medical supply inventory entries, prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support the P&L review.\n\nIntercompany: Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and support the consolidation process.\n\nDocumentation: Document processes and help build a repeatable month-end close.\n\nWhat you bring\n4–7 years of accounting experience, ideally as a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller\n\nHealthcare industry experience, ideally in multi-site or clinic-based organizations (must)\n\nQuickBooks proficiency (must)\n\nHands-on experience with account reconciliations, accruals and month-end close\n\nWorking knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606 and ASC 842\n\nExposure to intercompany accounting in a multi-entity environment\n\nDetail-oriented, organized and comfortable working through messy data\n\nAdvanced English\n\nNice to have\nExperience with books clean-up projects\n\nExperience with RCM or EHR billing systems\n\nBackground in mental or behavioral healthcare\n\nCPA, or working toward it\n\nOriginally posted on
