Our passion is building.\nResponsibilities\nMaintain full ownership of project scope, schedule, budget, and risk management for mission-critical facilities.\nLead the project team through all phases of construction, from preconstruction and procurement through commissioning and closeout.\nEstablish clear expectations, accountability, and communication across all project stakeholders.\nChampion Brinkmann’s safety culture across all scopes of work, ensuring compliance with safety standards and best practices.\nLead quality planning and execution to support zero-defect delivery and mission-critical performance requirements.\nConduct and support safety and quality audits, inspections, and corrective actions.\nManage complex coordination between civil, structural, architectural, and MEP scopes with a focus on system integration and performance.\nOversee project phasing, sequencing, and risk mitigation in schedule-driven, high-reliability environments.\nSupport testing, commissioning, and turnover activities to ensure systems meet performance, redundancy, and owner expectations.\nParticipate in estimating, takeoffs, subcontractor bidding, and contract award strategies.\nMaintain accurate project financials, forecasts, and cost controls.\nInitiate, review, and negotiate change orders with a focus on value and risk reduction.\nLead procurement and performance management of subcontractors and suppliers.\nFacilitate collaboration between owners, designers, consultants, and commissioning agents.\nConduct OAC meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, and internal team reviews.\nLead, mentor, and support Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Superintendents.\nProvide ongoing coaching, feedback, and career development to team members.\nSupport business development efforts and contribute to repeat client relationships.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.\n5+ years of experience managing large, complex commercial or mission-critical construction projects.\nProven ability to manage integrated project teams across all building systems.\nStrong understanding of construction sequencing, risk management, and system coordination.\nExperience with mission-critical or high-reliability environments (e.g., data centers, critical facilities) preferred.\nProficiency in Procore, Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, and construction financial tools.\nExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nWorking Conditions:\nThe Project Manager’s work is primarily performed indoors in a main office or field office at the construction site; occasionally outdoors in various weather conditions with exposure to health or safety hazards, including noise levels ranging from moderate to loud.\nLight physical effort is required, including the handling of objects up to 20 pounds and some standing, walking, sitting, talking and hearing.\nConstruction site will change or vary and/or position may require travel.\nEnvironment will be demanding and fast paced; number of hours typically worked in a workweek may exceed 40 hours per week and often “on call” 24 hours a day.\nPosition requires a high-level of autonomy as it relates to decision-making that impacts company results, client relationships, and subcontractor interaction.\nDepending on location of position, nationwide travel may be required.\n\nAt Brinkmann Constructors, our passion for people means investing in their financial, mental, and physical well-being.
