Job Summary
- We are looking for a knowledgeable and engaging Data Management Tutor to teach learners the fundamentals and practical applications of data management.
- The tutor will be responsible for delivering structured lessons, simplifying technical concepts, and helping learners develop practical skills in handling, organising, analysing, and managing data.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons on data management concepts, tools, and best practices.
- Teach learners how to collect, organise, clean, store, and manage data effectively.
- Provide practical training in databases, spreadsheets, data organisation, and basic data analysis.
- Create lesson plans, exercises, assignments, and practical projects appropriate to the learner’s level.
- Monitor learners’ progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Ensure classes are conducted professionally, punctually, and in line with the school’s teaching standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in Data Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
- Practical knowledge of data management principles and tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with databases such as SQL/MySQL.
- Experience with data cleaning, organisation, storage, and basic analysis.
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify technical concepts for learners.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable device for online teaching.
