Technical Lead - Integration-Java - JSON

Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a seasoned Technical Lead for its Smart Integration (API) - Delivery team. The role involves leading the design, development, and deployment of scalable Java-based integration solutions, guiding architecture decisions across microservices, SOA, and cloud-native environments, and collaborating closely with clients to translate business needs into robust, secure APIs.

• Architect and develop high-performance Java APIs and integration services (REST, SOAP, OData).
• Lead a team of developers, providing mentorship, code reviews, and technical guidance.
• Design data models and implement solutions using relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Define and enforce security best practices throughout the software lifecycle.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) initiatives.
• Collaborate with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to design scalable, resilient solutions.
• Lead technical discussions and solution presentations with clients and stakeholders.
• Evaluate and integrate Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or comparable integration platforms.
• Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and documentation for the integration portfolio.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve performance and reliability.

• 8-12 years of software development experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or lead role.
• Strong proficiency in core Java and building scalable Java applications.
• Deep understanding of software design patterns, microservices, monolithic, SOA, and cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-on experience building and consuming REST, SOAP, and OData web services.
• Proficiency with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases and data modeling.
• Knowledge of software security principles and ability to embed security into designs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and associated architecture patterns.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar integration platforms (highly preferred).
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and technical leadership.
