Position Summary

This is a high-impact role for a forward-thinking professional passionate about digital transformation. We are seeking a commercially minded, results-oriented AI & Data Solutions Senior Manager who can navigate our Databricks data foundations with ease and uses Claude Code and/or Claude Cowork to deliver AI-driven business insights and analytics, to support BMS’s journey toward data-driven excellence. You will play a key role in connecting commercial strategy with technology, building scalable and reusable data products on our Databricks data foundations, and using AI & GenAI capabilities including Claude to turn those foundations into business insights and analytics. With a strong analytical mindset, mandatory commercial experience, and a collaborative approach, you’ll help translate business needs into actionable AI and data solutions, helping commercial teams across Europe unlock insights, improve decision-making, and deliver measurable impact across sales and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify opportunities to apply data & AI to commercial challenges, challenging the status quo and championing new ways of working.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and own the end-to-end delivery of data & AI solutions that drive differentiation and engagement.
• Use Claude Code and/or Claude Cowork to rapidly build and deliver business insights and analytics solutions on top of our data foundations, taking full accountability from exploration through to production-ready output.
• Promote the adoption of AI & GenAI capabilities, to elevate organizational maturity.
• Monitor performance of deployed solutions and proactively drive enhancements to maximize business impact.
• Build strong relationships with commercial stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner and advocate for data and technology.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Life Sciences or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
• Proficiency in using Claude Code and/or Claude Cowork to deliver business insights and analytics solutions built on data foundations.
• Commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related sectors, is an asset
• Background in software development or data engineering, with strong SQL and data fluency, is an asset.
• Hands-on experience delivering data solutions on modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Databricks, AWS, Snowflake etc) leveraging established data foundations to build scalable and reusable data products.
• Solid project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and global environments.

Compensation Overview:

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. The final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience and in accordance with pay equity principles and applicable employment laws.
