This role requires a strong foundation in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, Python and Node.js backend development, containerized microservices, and hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on AWS. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning features end-to-end - from UI implementation to API design to cloud deployment - and collaborates effectively within an Agile team.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain full stack web applications spanning front-end, back-end, and cloud environments\nDevelop and integrate REST/SOAP APIs and microservices to support business applications and AI-driven workflows\nEnhance, troubleshoot, and support existing production applications, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability\nDeploy and manage applications on AWS using containerized (Docker/ECS Fargate) and serverless (Lambda/API Gateway) architectures\nCollaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers within an Agile development process\nParticipate in code reviews and apply static code analysis and security scanning tools to maintain code quality\nCollaborate with IT partners, business teams, and the broader IT matrix organization to understand requirements and use cases, support solution design and delivery of new digital capabilities, and contribute to the enablement and simplification of existing ones - translating requirements into user stories, epics, and sprint-ready tasks using Agile/Scrum methodologies\nGather requirements, propose solution options, and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders\nDesired Experience\nFront End\nStrong hands-on experience building production applications with ReactJS (with TypeScript); working knowledge of Next.js\nExperience with React Native for mobile development\nExposure to an additional front-end framework such as Vue.js is a plus\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS\nExperience with modern CSS frameworks/libraries such as Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, and component libraries like shadcn/ui\nBack End\nSolid experience with Python and Node.js for building server-side applications and services\nExperience designing and building REST APIs; familiarity with SOAP APIs\nHands-on experience with microservices architecture and Docker containerization\nExperience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, and Express.js\nUnderstanding of ORM concepts and implementation\nDatabase\nExperience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB (or similar relational and NoSQL databases)\nFamiliarity with SQLite for lightweight/local data storage use cases\nPractical experience with data modeling for both relational and NoSQL systems\nCloud (AWS)\nHands-on experience with core AWS services: API Gateway, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, EC2, ECR, ECS Fargate, ALB, NLB, and IAM\nUnderstanding of serverless and containerized deployment patterns on AWS\nWorking knowledge of AWS security and access management (IAM roles/policies)\nDevOps\nProficient with Git for version control and collaborative development workflows\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation\nExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and/or AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy\nFamiliarity with static code analysis and linting tools such as PyLint and ESLint\nTools & Collaboration\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot within VS Code\nExperience working with JIRA and Confluence in an Agile development environment\nStrong track record of participating in code reviews and applying static code analysis tools such as SonarQube and Snyk Code\nGood to Have\nExposure to Generative AI and Agentic AI concepts and application development\nExperience with LangChain and/or LangGraph for building AI-driven workflows and agents\nFamiliarity with Azure OpenAI and/or AWS Bedrock\nUnderstanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and its use in AI tool integrations\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)\n4-7 years of professional software development experience, with demonstrated full stack project delivery\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional Agile team\nSolid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, code review, testing, and secure coding standards\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nDemonstrated experience deploying and supporting applications in a cloud environment (AWS preferred)\nWe hire for skills and capabilities, not just credentials - if this role excites you, but doesn’t perfectly match your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.\nHow We Work\nWhere you work matters - because collaboration, innovation and patient impact happen in many settings.
