Reporting to the Chief Engineer and under the day to day supervision of the Aircraft Check Lead, the position holder will be required to perform base maintenance on various Company aircraft types.\nThe Key Responsibilities include:\nPerform and certify aircraft maintenance, including: Scheduled Maintenance Inspections, MODS and defect rectification;\nOverseeing and certifying work performed by unlicenced and specialist trades;\nMaintain acceptable airworthiness and maintenance standards;\nIssue such certifications within the scope of authorisation;\nReporting on incidents or lapse in quality involving a/c staff, material, plant, tools, equipment, premises or facilities.\nPERSON SPECIFICATION: (minimum education requirements, key skills and experience)\nQualifications:\nCAA B1.3 License.\nExperience:\nRelevant experience and time on helicopters.\nSkills:\nExcellent adaptable team worker, with good work and safety ethics;\nAttention to detail;\nGood interpersonal skills with ability to work within small team;\nAnalytical approach to problem solving;\nNumerical skills;\nMotivated to provide a high standard of work;\nAbility to consider the effects of their actions to both the Department and the Company as a whole;\nDemonstrate integrity in all aspects;\nGood communication skills both written and verbal;\nGood IT skills and the ability to learn new systems.\nAll applicants must be currently eligible to work and live in the UK.
