This role acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure systems, workflows, integrations, and business processes effectively support operational objectives.\nThe Business Systems Analyst works closely across the organization to gather requirements, document business needs, troubleshoot system issues, and identify opportunities for process improvement. This role plays a key part in ensuring business systems remain reliable, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nBusiness & Technical Requirements\nGather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements, automation initiatives, and operational improvements.\nTranslate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.\nPartner with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and appropriately implemented.\nAssist with user acceptance testing (UAT), validation activities, and deployment readiness efforts.\nSystems Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution\nInvestigate system issues, reporting discrepancies, workflow errors, and integration challenges.\nAnalyze system behavior and documentation to identify root causes and potential solutions.\nWork with technical teams to resolve business system issues in a timely manner.\nDocument findings and support ongoing monitoring of recurring issues.\nSystems Administration & Support\nSupport the administration and maintenance of HubSpot and related business systems.\nConfigure and maintain users, permissions, properties, workflows, forms, lists, and reporting structures.\nAssist with system configuration updates and enhancements that support business operations.\nCollaborate with Engineering and third-party vendors on integrations and system improvements.\nProcess Analysis & Workflow Optimization\nFacilitate discussions with business teams to understand current processes and identify improvement opportunities.\nDocument current-state and future-state workflows, business rules, and process requirements.\nRecommend process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce manual work, and improve data quality.\nEvaluate the impact of proposed changes across business functions and systems.\nStakeholder Collaboration\nServe as a point of contact for business users regarding system functionality and capabilities.\nCommunicate business requirements and technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nSupport project planning, implementation efforts, and change management activities.\nAssist with end-user training and adoption of new system functionality and processes.\nDocumentation & Continuous Improvement\nMaintain system documentation including requirements, process maps, workflows, configuration details, and user guides.\nContribute to the development of best practices for business systems management and process documentation.\nIdentify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies across business functions.\nSupport reporting and analytics initiatives that drive informed business decision-making.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Systems Administrator, or similar role.\nExperience gathering and documenting business requirements and supporting technology initiatives.\nExperience working with CRM platforms, workflow automation tools, and business applications.\nExperience collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams.\nComfort reading technical and API documentation and understanding how systems pass data to each other.\nSkills/Attributes:\nExperience administering or supporting HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.\nStrong business analysis, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.\nUnderstanding of workflow automation, system integrations, and data management principles.\nFamiliarity with integration and concepts like APIs, webhooks, and data mapping.\nAbility to analyze complex business processes and translate them into system requirements.\nStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation quality.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience with Jira, Confluence, Miro.\nExperience in financial services, fintech, lending, or related industries is a plus.\nFamiliarity with AI-powered productivity and business analysis tools is
