While the responsibility for the management of the external borders remains primarily with the Member States, we support border control at land, air and sea borders by reinforcing, assessing and coordinating actions at the external borders of the EU and fighting cross-border crime.\nFrontex deploy specialised border guards, as well as vessels, airplanes and other technical equipment, to those EU countries which face an increased migratory pressure.\nThe establishment and operations of the Standing Corps gives raise to various novel legal challenges and risks. The selected candidate will have a chance to significantly contribute to the application of the EU law in this area by developing creative legal solutions in cooperation with internal and external partners.\nWork Model: Hybrid (5 days per month from the office in Warsaw\nOur expectations\nMinimum 8 years of relevant IT professional experience\n\nMinimum 5 years of project experience relevant to the profile or in a similar role\n\nHigher vocational education (minimum Bachelor's degree)\n\nHolds at least two of the following certifications:\n\n** Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent or equivalent\n** Certified UML Professional certificate at foundation level or BPM 2 fundamental level or equivalent\nHas completed at least one full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)\n\nKnowledge in business processes modelling using BPMN notation\n\nExperience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and user story definition\n\nKnowledge of analysis and modelling notations such as UML (e.g., capability diagrams, activity diagrams, state diagrams, logical data models)\n\nProficiency in modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect, or definition of requirements and software development\n\nMaintains and tracks requirements/user stories in systems lifecycle\n\nTransfers business, users and technical needs into business requirements specification,\n\nMaps business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, system features\n\nAnalyses available systems\n\nSupports identification of options for potential solutions\n\nSupports preparation of business cases and feasibility studies\n\nContributes to systems design, testing, quality assurance, change management.\n\nResponsible for designing, validating, and testing business processes for achieving business process excellence\n\nResponsible for taking a holistic approach in the planning and managing of a programmes for continuous improvements of business processes\n\nResponsible for coaching Frontex staff on upcoming changes, ensuring that a plan is in place to teach new skills and/or process changes\n\nCollaborates with owners of end-to-end processes to continually seek out process improvements\n\nIdentifies opportunities for business process improvement leading to improved customer service, lower costs, or higher revenue (effectiveness and efficiency gains)\n\nCommunicates project objectives, business case, requirements, and scope to all stakeholders, in order to better provide rapid responses to business needs\n\nQuantitatively analyses business processes, performing cost-benefit and what-if analysis\n\nPlans organizational changes process\n\nImplements performance monitoring systems for business processes\n\nSupports
