Knowledge and understanding of project management techniques, and engineering practices and standards, are highly desirable. Qualifications in APM/Prince would be an advantage though not essential.\nPrevious experience of managing the engagement and work of suppliers will be essential, from creating including dealing with contracts, management of site work, change and claims management.
