The role will support executive management and senior leaders in identifying, assessing and managing strategic, financial and emerging risks that could impact the achievement of business objectives.\nThe successful candidate will champion a proactive risk culture across the organisation and provide insightful analysis to support informed decision-making.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintain and enhance the corporate risk management framework in line with industry good practice.\nSupport the identification and assessment of emerging risks, market threats and opportunities.\nEnsure consistent risk methodologies, scoring criteria and reporting standards across the organisation.\nMonitor external risk trends affecting the steel industry, including geopolitical, economic, environmental and supply chain risks.\nPrepare risk reports, dashboards and presentations for Executive Leadership Team, Audit Committee and Board.\nAnalyse risk trends and develop actionable recommendations.\nDeliver risk awareness training and workshops.\nPromote ownership and accountability for risk management throughout the business.\nWhat we need to know about you\nSignificant experience in enterprise risk management, governance or internal control functions.\nStrong understanding of risk management frameworks and standards.\nExperience facilitating risk workshops with senior stakeholders.\nExcellent analytical, presentation and communication skills.\nAbility to influence and challenge senior management constructively.\nDegree-level qualification or equivalent experience.\nWhat we can offer you\n We know our employees are our greatest asset and alongside the great benefits packages we offer, we continue to invest in their careers by providing a huge range of training and development opportunities. \nWhatever your stage in life, you'll find a range of benefits to complement your work-life balance.
