With over 40 years of industry experience, Hybrid Digital has cemented itself as one of the most dependable and trusted sources for on-demand print and fulfillment.\nWhat is my role?\nThe Lead for DTG,oversees daily Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing operations, serving as the primary point of contact for production execution, quality control, and team coordination. This role combines hands-on machine operation with leadership responsibilities, guiding and supporting the DTG team to consistently meet production goals, quality standards, and delivery timelines. The Lead DTG Operator drives continuous improvement and maintains a safe, efficient, and well-organized production environment.\nNON-PEAK SEASON\nMonday - Friday\n2nd shift 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM\nOccasional weekend work may be required based on business needs.\nPEAK SEASON\nWorkdays and hours vary based on business demand.\nMay include weekends, extended shifts, and overtime.\nEmployees must be available for variable hours and days as workload increases.\nWhat You'll Do\nTeam Leadership & Coordination\nProvide day-to-day direction, coaching, and support to DTG Operators throughout the shift.\nServe as the first point of escalation for production issues, quality concerns, and equipment problems.\nCoordinate workload distribution across the team to balance capacity and meet order deadlines.\nLead onboarding and hands-on training for new team members; verify skill development and compliance with procedures.\nModel and reinforce company safety standards and a positive team culture.\nProduction Operations\nOperate DTG printing machines safely and efficiently alongside the team to achieve daily production targets.\nOversee batch and order loading, ensuring continuous and organized workflow throughout the shift.\nMonitor on-time order status across the shift, proactively flagging risks and adjusting priorities as needed.\nSupport cross-training to ensure team members can flex across multiple DTG functions.\nQuality Control\nConduct regular quality inspections of print output; identify and resolve defects or escalate as appropriate.\nTroubleshoot print issues and guide operators in corrective action to minimize downtime and waste.\nMaintain and enforce quality standards at every stage of production.\nEquipment & Workspace\nOversee machine setup, routine inspections, daily testing, and basic troubleshooting for all DTG equipment.\nEnsure timely reporting of equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs to leadership and maintenance teams.\nSupervise ink handling processes and maintain organized, well-stocked ink stations and work areas.\nUphold cleanliness and organization standards across all assigned production areas.\nCommunication & Continuous Improvement\nCommunicate shift updates, production status, and team concerns clearly to supervisors and other department leads.\nDocument production metrics and quality issues as required.\nChampion and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, quality, and team performance.\nWhat You'll Need\nPrior experience operating DTG or other production printing equipment (preferred)\nDemonstrated leadership or team coordination experience in a production or manufacturing setting (preferred).\nStrong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and consistency.\nAbility to troubleshoot equipment and print issues independently and guide others in resolution.\nEffective communication skills, able to relay clear instructions and feedback to teammates and leadership.\nProficient in basic computer skills and comfortable with production tracking systems.\nAbility to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.\nSolid knowledge of workplace safety practices and commitment to enforcing them.\nReliable attendance and punctuality; leads by example in professionalism.\nAbility to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.\nAbility to lift and move materials as needed.\nAbility to safely operate and work around production equipment.\nHybrid Apparel is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
