The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in data governance, business analysis, and IT process improvement.\nKey Responsibiliti\nBenefits:\nComprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance\nEmployer-Paid Life Insurance\nEmployer-Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance\n401(k)\nPaid Time Off (PTO) that includes Vacation Leave, Sick Leave, and 11 Paid Holidays\nEducational Assistance\nSalary: 100k-122k\n**Can be 100% remote in TX, VA, MD, DC, or FL**\n**High Profile roles may require candidates to fly to customer HQ for in person interview (expenses paid)**\nClick here to learn about BRMi's culture.\nClick here to see BRMi’s Glassdoor reviews\nResponsibilities\nConduct comprehensive reviews of data management solutions and shared data repositories to identify and validate data owners.\nPartner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document data access requirements.\nSupport engineering teams in restructuring folder hierarchies and permissions to ensure access is granted only to authorized users.\nMonitor and maintain data access controls across enterprise file structures to ensure compliance with security and governance standards.\nAssist in developing and implementing standardized processes for granting access during new folder creation.\nTrack data collection activities and provide timely status updates to project stakeholders and leadership.\nEvaluate business processes, data, policies, methodologies, and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.\nAnalyze the impact of policy, procedural, and technology changes on business operations and recommend appropriate solutions.\nPartner with business units, project teams, and vendors to gather requirements, resolve operational issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.\nMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop preventative processes using data-driven analysis.\nCompile, validate, and prepare complex datasets for reporting, operational analysis, and management decision-making.\nPerform benchmarking, trend analysis, and root cause analysis to identify opportunities for operational improvements.\nDevelop actionable recommendations based on analytical findings and communicate alternatives and potential impacts to stakeholders.\nTranslate business needs into technical requirements and support implementation efforts.\nContribute to the development and documentation of best practices related to data governance and access management.\nEnsure compliance with organizational IT policies, procedures, security standards, and industry best practices.\nPerform other duties as assigned\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExperience supporting data governance, data management, business analysis, or access governance initiatives.\nStrong understanding of IT policies, security principles, and data access management.\nDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex business and technical issues.\nExperience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.\nExperience working with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical personnel.\nAbility to work independently while effectively collaborating within a team environment.\nExperience translating business requirements into practical technical solutions.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\nDesired:\nExperience supporting enterprise data governance or information management programs.\nFamiliarity with identity and access management (IAM) or role-based access control (RBAC) concepts.\nExperience with data classification, access reviews, or file share governance initiatives.\nKnowledge of reporting, business intelligence, or data analytics tools.\nExperience leading process improvement initiatives and developing governance documentation.\nPrevious experience in a large enterprise or highly regulated environment.\n** BRMi will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.**\n**This is a W2 opportunity only**\nEOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disabled\nWe are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and commitment at all levels.
