This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience testing enterprise applications within a financial services environment.\nBenefits:\nComprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance\nEmployer-Paid Life Insurance\nEmployer-Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance\n401(k)\nPaid Time Off (PTO) that includes Vacation Leave, Sick Leave, and 11 Paid Holidays\nEducational Assistance\nSalary: 75k-91k\n**An In Person interview will be required for this role**\nClick here to learn about BRMi's culture.\nClick here to see BRMi’s Glassdoor reviews\nResponsibilities\nPerform comprehensive functional and regression testing of new and existing software applications, including legacy and vendor-supported systems.\n\nValidate new and modified system functionality to ensure applications operate as intended and meet established business requirements.\n\nTest system integrations, interfaces, data processing, and reporting functionality to ensure accuracy and reliability.\n\nDevelop, maintain, and execute test cases based on business and system requirements.\n\nCreate, modify, and maintain test data and conditions necessary to execute testing scenarios.\n\nAnalyze business and technical requirements, including system functionality, features, inputs, outputs, and operational objectives.\n\nIdentify, investigate, and document software defects, discrepancies, potential causes, and recommended solutions.\n\nCollaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.\n\nExecute retesting and regression testing to verify defect resolutions and system modifications.\n\nCommunicate testing results, defects, and discrepancies to software testing analysts, developers, and project stakeholders.\n\nValidate testing completion and confirm system readiness for production implementation.\n\nDevelop and maintain testing procedures, process documentation, and training materials related to system changes and enhancements.\n\nMaintain comprehensive testing logs, including testing activities, time spent, identified defects, system issues, and testing delays.\n\nReview system and user documentation for accuracy and completeness before distribution.\n\nInvestigate user inquiries and reported application issues, coordinating with appropriate technical teams to identify and resolve problems.\n\nParticipate in project discussions to understand business objectives, system requirements, and implementation approaches.\n\nSupport continuous improvement of software testing processes, documentation, and quality assurance practices.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nExperience performing functional and regression testing across multiple software applications and technology platforms.\n\nExperience testing enterprise applications, including legacy systems and vendor-supported software.\n\nKnowledge of software testing tools such as HPE Unified Functional Testing (UFT), HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and Jira.\n\nExperience within the financial services industry, including an understanding of operational risks, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.\n\nExperience with automated systems analysis, software development processes, and testing procedures.\n\nUnderstanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), project lifecycles, and project management methodologies.\n\nExperience developing, executing, and documenting software test cases and test results.\n\nAbility to analyze business and system requirements and identify potential software defects or functional discrepancies.\n\nStrong analytical, research, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.\n\nStrong judgment, initiative, and ability to manage assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision.\n\nExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\n\nAbility to present testing findings, technical issues, and recommendations clearly and concisely.\n\nStrong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.\n\nExceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.\n\nAbility to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and achieve established objectives.\n\nProficiency with database tools, presentation software, word processing applications, and spreadsheets.\n\nUnderstanding of software testing industry standards and best practices.\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience preferred.\n\nExperience with automated software testing tools and frameworks preferred.\n\n** BRMi will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.**\n**This is a W2 opportunity only**\nEOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disabled\nWe are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and commitment at all levels.
