This role is responsible for ensuring business requirements are met and system changes function as expected prior to production implementation.\nThe UAT Analyst will support a blended testing approach that combines hands-on manual testing with automation-assisted testing. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive test cases, preparing test accounts and data, reviewing automated testing evidence, validating business outcomes, and documenting testing results.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong experience in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing, along with the ability to develop reusable, automation-ready test cases. comprehensive UAT plans, test cases, test scripts, and supporting testing documentation.\n\nReview business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure appropriate test coverage.\n\nDevelop detailed, repeatable test cases with clearly defined preconditions, test data, account requirements, expected results, and validation checkpoints.\n\nCreate, configure, maintain, and validate test accounts and test data required for UAT execution.\n\nTroubleshoot test-account and test-data issues that may prevent successful testing.\n\nPerform manual UAT, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.\n\nExecute testing for system enhancements, software releases, defect resolutions, and business initiatives.\n\nDevelop reusable test cases and testing assets that support future automated execution.\n\nReview screenshots, test logs, and other evidence generated through automation-assisted testing.\n\nValidate automated testing results against business requirements and expected outcomes.\n\nDetermine final test results, including Pass, Fail, Blocked, or Requires Additional Validation.\n\nPerform additional manual testing when automated results or supporting evidence are incomplete or inconclusive.\n\nIdentify, document, track, retest, and validate software defects and system issues.\n\nMaintain traceability between business requirements, test cases, test data, execution results, supporting evidence, and defects.\n\nCollaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, automation engineers, and project teams throughout the testing lifecycle.\n\nSupport release readiness assessments, defect triage, and post-implementation validation activities.\n\nMaintain testing documentation and evidence in accordance with established governance, compliance, and audit requirements.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve test coverage, execution efficiency, repeatability, and automation readiness.\n\nCollaborate with automation teams to improve test execution processes, evidence capture, reliability, and coverage.\n\nIdentify testing scenarios appropriate for automation and those requiring manual execution or human judgment.\n\nEvaluate testing evidence to distinguish successful automated execution from successful business validation.\n\nCommunicate testing progress, risks, defects, blockers, and recommendations to project stakeholders.\n\nSupport continuous improvement of UAT processes, test-case development, and testing quality standards.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.\n\n5-10 years of experience in user acceptance testing, quality assurance, business validation, or a related software testing discipline.\n\nDemonstrated experience developing and executing comprehensive UAT plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing scenarios.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.\n\nExperience analyzing business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria and translating them into detailed test scenarios.\n\nExperience creating, configuring, conditioning, and maintaining test accounts and test data for testing activities.\n\nAbility to establish required test-account states, attributes, prerequisites, and business conditions.\n\nExperience troubleshooting test-account and test-data issues.\n\nAbility to develop structured, repeatable, reusable, and automation-ready test cases.\n\nUnderstanding of automated testing concepts and blended manual and automation-assisted UAT processes.\n\nExperience designing test cases with clearly defined steps, expected results, validation checkpoints, and evidence requirements.\n\nAbility to review screenshots, logs, and other evidence generated through automated testing and validate expected business outcomes.\n\nAbility to distinguish successful automated test execution from successful business validation.\n\nAbility to identify scenarios suitable for automation and those requiring manual testing or human judgment.\n\nExperience evaluating incomplete or inconclusive testing evidence and performing additional validation when necessary.\n\nExperience documenting software defects, testing risks, execution results, and supporting evidence.\n\nExperience using test management and defect tracking tools.\n\nExperience maintaining traceability between requirements, test cases, testing evidence, and identified defects.\n\nExperience working in Agile and project-based environments supporting multiple concurrent initiatives.\n\nStrong analytical, critical-thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\n\nExcellent attention to detail and commitment to software quality.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet established deadlines.\n\nStrong collaboration skills with business stakeholders, technical teams, developers, and automation resources.\n\nAbility to clearly communicate testing status, risks, defects, and recommendations.\n\nAbility to identify and challenge unclear requirements, insufficient test coverage, or inadequate testing evidence.\n\nExperience supporting fraud prevention, fraud operations, or risk management initiatives preferred.\n\nExperience supporting complex system implementations, integrations, and production releases preferred.\n\nExperience with automation-assisted testing tools, automated testing frameworks, or test automation processes preferred.\n\nExperience developing reusable regression testing assets and automation-ready test cases preferred.\n\nKnowledge of risk-based testing methodologies and test-case design best practices preferred.\n\nExperience supporting compliance, governance, audit evidence, and testing documentation
