If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.\nJob Description:\nThe Test Engineer is considered a testing expert and should be familiar with processes and systems supporting Product Development and Functional testing of products in a high-volume outsourced model.\nThe Test Engineer should have a solid foundation in PCIe Protocol and Products, Testing Strategy, influencing and impacting Broadcom’s business needs.\nThe Test Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day development of functional test programs, and be comfortable working with, and collaborating, with World-Wide based Product, Firmware and Hardware Development teams.\nKey Areas of Responsibility\nDrive manufacturing excellence and ensure the highest quality standards across our products\nBecome a Broadcom Test and manufacturing expert\nResponsible for New Product Development for product, process and quality concerns regarding Testing of Board products\nManage Final Functional test activities at CM sites\nOwn product test coverage, test flow, and test limits from handoff after test development through mass production to End-of-Life\nCoordinate between design/R&D, product engineering, manufacturing, and CM teams to support NPI\nSupport New Product Introduction (NPI), including test development, correlation, validation, and production ramp-up\nMonitor NPI test yield, DPPM, and quality metrics; drive yield improvement and cost reduction initiatives in NPI prior to Production handoff\nLead failure analysis and root cause investigation for test escapes, yield loss, and customer returns\nSupport engineering change orders (ECO), test revisions, and product transfers\nEnsure test hardware and processes meet reliability, cost, quality, and schedule target requirements\nRequirements / QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related discipline\nExperience in test/product engineering or manufacturing test\nSolid knowledge of test hardware design\nSolid knowledge of Test program development utilizing CLI tools and inclusive of creating add-in python scripts\nStrong understanding of final test processes\nExperience working with CMs and high-volume manufacturing environments\nGood analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills\n\nPreferred SkillsExperience with Linux based test platforms\nKnowledge of PCIe, and high-speed digital/analog IO\nExperience in yield analysis, test data mining\nFamiliarity with NPI, product qualification, and mass production release\nParticipate in cost reduction initiatives supporting annual operating plan\n\nEssential Qualifications\n· Minimum 5+ years experience in a Test Engineering function\nCompensation and Benefits\nThe annual base salary range for this position is USD 91,100.00 To USD 146,000.00\nAs a valued member of our team, you'll be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and the opportunity to receive not only a competitive new hire equity grant, but also annual equity awards, connecting your success directly to the company's growth.
