If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.\nJob Description:\nRole Overview\nBroadcom is seeking a motivated Hardware Applications Engineer to join our AI Networking Infrastructure team on-site, working with Enterprise, high-growth Frontier Labs, and Hyperscalers. In this evolving role, you will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to provide hardware technical support, board-level debug assistance, and laboratory validation for Broadcom’s industry-leading semiconductor solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Support & Design Guidance: Provide hardware design support and technical guidance throughout the product lifecycle.\nAssist with schematic and PCB layout reviews, component selection, and reference board bring-up.\nHelp create and maintain customer-facing technical documentation guiding board design, including design guides, application notes, and layout recommendations.\n\n Hands-on Lab Testing & Troubleshooting: Perform hands-on board bring-up, debugging, and functional testing in the lab.\nUtilize standard lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies) to diagnose and resolve hardware issues.\nAssist with basic board rework and electrical characterization.\n\nQualifications & Requirements\n Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Computer Engineering (BSCE), or related engineering field.\n\nExperience: 2-6 years of experience in hardware engineering, applications support, board design, or hardware validation.\n\n Core Requirements: Solid understanding of general electrical engineering and PCB design fundamentals.\nHands-on experience working in a hardware lab with standard test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies).\nBasic understanding of power management, thermal principles, and board-level interconnects.\nAbility to create clear, customer-facing technical documentation and design guidance.\nStrong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills.\n\nPreferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.\nFamiliarity with high-speed serial interfaces (such as SerDes) and signal integrity fundamentals.\nExperience evaluating DC-DC power converters or power delivery networks (PDN).\nFamiliarity with AI-coding tools (Claude/Codex)\nExperience with high-speed PCB stack-up and impedance control design rules.\nCompensation and Benefits\nThe annual base salary range for this position is USD 101,000.00 To USD 162,000.00\nAs a valued member of our team, you'll be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and the opportunity to receive not only a competitive new hire equity grant, but also annual equity awards, connecting your success directly to the company's growth.
