If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.\nJob Description:\nLead Solutions Architect - VMware by Broadcom\nRole overview\nThe Solutions Architect provides technical leadership and strategic guidance to enterprise customers adopting VMware by Broadcom solutions. With a primary focus on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), the role translates business priorities into secure, scalable and resilient private cloud architectures.\nWorking closely with customers, account teams, partners and product specialists, the Solutions Architect leads technical discovery, develops solution designs and demonstrates business value.\nThe role supports customers from initial strategy and technical evaluation through implementation planning, platform adoption and ongoing optimisation.\nKey responsibilities\nCustomer advisory: Build trusted relationships with business and technical stakeholders. Understand customer priorities, assess existing infrastructure and identify opportunities for modernisation.\nSolution architecture: Design integrated solutions across compute, storage, networking, security, automation and operations using VMware Cloud Foundation. Address availability, performance, recoverability, manageability and security requirements.\nTechnical discovery and validation: Lead architecture workshops, technical presentations, demonstrations and proofs of concept. Define success criteria and validate proposed solutions against customer requirements.\nTechnical sales support: Partner with account teams to develop proposals, respond to technical requirements and articulate the business value of VMware solutions. Explain architectural choices, operational benefits and investment considerations to technical and executive audiences.\nTransformation planning: Develop future state architectures and adoption roadmaps that help customers modernise infrastructure, migrate workloads and expand their use of VCF capabilities.\nDelivery collaboration: Work with professional services, systems integrators and customer teams to maintain architectural alignment during implementation. Document assumptions, dependencies, risks and design decisions.\nInnovation and feedback: Maintain knowledge of the VMware portfolio and emerging customer requirements, including Kubernetes, application networking, security and Private Al. Share customer feedback with product management and engineering teams.\nRequired skills and experience\nDemonstrated experience in enterprise solutions architecture, technical consulting or technical sales, with a strong background in virtualisation and private cloud infrastructure.\nStrong knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation and its core technologies, including Sphere, VSAN and NSX.\nUnderstanding of infrastructure automation, operational management, networking, storage, disaster recovery and security architecture.\nProven ability to translate business and technical requirements into practical solution designs.\nExperience leading customer workshops, technical evaluations and architecture discussions.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to business leaders.\nStrong analytical, problem solving and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively across sales, engineering, services and partner\nPreferred qualifications\nRelevant VMware certification, particularly VCP-VCF Architect, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.\nExperience with VCF Automation and VCF Operations.\nFamiliarity with VMware Kubernetes capabilities, VMware Defend, Avi Load Balancer or Private Al solutions.\nA degree in information technology, computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.\nSuccess measures\nSuccess is demonstrated through validated solution designs, achievement of customer technical objectives, increased platform adoption, effective delivery handovers and strong customer and partner\nBroadcom is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
