The position involves testing and validation of mainframe-based applications.\nJob Complexity: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.\nSupervision: Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.\nExperience: Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.\nJob Description\nWe are looking for experienced Software Engineers in Test to participate in an Agile development environment producing functional software solutions for delivery to our customers. In this role, you should be able to work independently with little supervision while also collaborating with team members. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills, and experience in Agile development methodologies. The individual and team goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business objectives in a mainframe computing environment.\nResponsibilities\nPerforming validation and verification testing of both new features and product fixes\nDeveloping and executing high-quality software tests in a continuous integration environment\nDeveloping, implementing, and maintaining robust test automation pipelines\nAssessing code coverage and identifying/resolving testing gaps\nAutomating tasks through appropriate tools and scripting\nEnsuring test pipelines are up to date with latest technologies\nCollaborating and providing Quality Assurance subject matter expertise in an Agile team environment\nCoordination with management and internal teams\nRequirements\nPractical experience in mainframe development and testing environment\nAnalytical mind with problem-solving aptitude\n Proficiency with Job Control Language (JCL) for batch workload\n Proficiency in Scripting languages (Python, JSON, REXX)\n Proficiency in CI/CD test automation frameworks (Jenkins)\n Strong understanding of Security protocols and ESMs\nExperience with REST API Automation (RestAssured) is a plus\nExperience with Java and Javascript/Typescript is a plus\nExperience with Junit/TestNG framework is a plus\nExperience with JMeter for Stress and Load testing is a plus \nCompensation and Benefits\nThe annual base salary range for this position is USD 109,700.00 To USD 175,500.00\nAs a valued member of our team, you'll be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and the opportunity to receive not only a competitive new hire equity grant, but also annual equity awards, connecting your success directly to the company's growth.
