Job Description: Job Title: PCB Hardware Design Engineer Location: Allentown, PA, Fort Collins, CO, or San Jose, CA A Hardware engineering position responsible for developing Bench and System Level Test PCBs for Broadcom products targeted at hyperscale data center applications. Broadcom’s market leading products are enabling the next generation of AI and cloud storage. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with Product Test and Firmware/Software teams in SLT system architecture definition. Design and schematic capture of SLT and bench PCBs for new Broadcom integrated circuit products using Allegro CAD tools Create and manage PCB component libraries using Allegro CAD tools Design architecture - collect information on PCB design rules, requirements, and specifications from project stakeholders, including customers Work with PCB layout and SI engineers to ensure PCB layouts meet all electrical requirements Work with Mechanical engineers and vendors
