If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.\nJob Description:\nJob Title: Solution Architect, Broadcom Software\nOverview of Position\nAs a Solution Architect, you will support a team of Account Directors (internal) and Resellers (external) in driving overall revenue and growth for existing Enterprise customers in the Broadcom Software portfolio (i.e. VMware, CA Technologies, Symantec).\nThe Solution Architect must have working experience of pre-sales activities, client technical guidance, implementation/operational consulting, and post-sales lifecycle support for modern private cloud offerings, with a specialization in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).\nThis is a quota-carrying position located in Broadcom's office in Plano, TX. Solution Architects are expected to be in the office every day.\nIn this role, you'll help Broadcom by:\nServing as a Subject Matter Expert is select areas of the Broadcom Software portfolio\nEmploying strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients (external) and product team leadership (internal)\nManaging a pipeline of active deals to ensure long term book-of-business sustainability\nDriving high-impact results for customers evaluating, implementing, and adopting private cloud and modern application infrastructure\nDeveloping and maintaining trusted relationships with senior level decision makers in your assigned accounts (including both end-user customers and Resellers)\nEffectively communicating Broadcom's ability to address customers' Enterprise Software needs and overall IT business objectives\nDemonstrating proficiency in pre-sale technical scoping and post-sale product adoption (including identifying opportunities for increased consumption of software--and presenting architectural solutions, professional services, lifecycle support, roadmaps, and programs to accelerate customer adoption and value realization)\nExceeding quarterly and annual sales targets\nRequired Skills\nTo apply for this position, you must have:\nAt least 12years' experience in a customer-facing B2B role, or equivalent level of education and experience\nAbility to assimilate and apply technical knowledge\nPrior experience in meeting/exceeding sales quota\nStrong understanding of a value-based sales approach\nSignificant experience in managing a pipeline of active deals\nAdditional Qualifications\nThe ideal candidate will also have:\nCurrent VMware certifications\nPrior experience in a startup organization\nStrong background in B2B software solutions\nCompensation and Benefits\nThe On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this position is USD 154,700.00 To USD 247,500.00\nOTE includes Sales Incentive Commission in accordance with relevant plan documents and salary.
