They can be user or kernel level components.\nShould be able to troubleshoot and support the infrastructure components for multiple parallel releases.\nShould be able to work with technical teams across geographies, and various time zones.\nPerformance tuning of the infra components to meet the scalability requirements.\nPorting the applications to new Linux kernels.\nWork closely with the testing, documentation and customer support teams.\nSkills required:\nMust have a 4-year undergraduate degree, and Master’s degree preferred, with Major or Minor in Computer Science or Information Systems\nMust have 8 to 12 years of work experience in a software product company. Should have worked on the Linux/Unix platforms, using C/C++ languages.\nShould have knowledge of atleast one scripting language, preferable Python.\nmust be familiar with Software Development Life Cycle for a product that has multiple release streams, and must have gone through the software development process at least once in their past work experience\nMust have good written and verbal communication skills to:\ntake requirement, develop external functional specs, unit test plan, and implementation design specs\nBroadcom is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
