You’ll develop and enhance data-processing solutions and build automated capabilities to validate complex inbound, outbound, and end-to-end business workflows.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain Python-based data integration and automation solutions.\nDevelop and support ETL, batch-processing, and file-based workflows.\nBuild reusable tools and utilities for data processing, validation, and reconciliation.\nAutomate validation of inbound and outbound data feeds.\nDevelop end-to-end automation across file ingestion, backend processing, database results, and downstream outputs.\nDevelop SQL-based data validation and reconciliation.\nWork with REST APIs and system integrations as part of end-to-end processing workflows.\nIntegrate automated processing and validation into CI/CD workflows.\nTroubleshoot issues across application code, data, files, databases, APIs, and processing environments.\nParticipate in code reviews, technical discussions, sprint planning, and engineering delivery.\nCollaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, DevOps, and other engineers to translate business and integration requirements into reliable software solutions.\nQualifications:\n5+ years of professional software development or software engineering experience.\nStrong hands-on development experience with Python.\nExperience with ETL, batch processing, data integration, or data-intensive applications.\nGood SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.\nExperience working with structured data files, data transformations, or file-based integrations.\nExperience with Git and modern software-development practices.\nStrong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively within an agile engineering team.\nNice to Have\nExperience with AWS services such as S3, Step Functions, Lambda, Glue, or CloudWatch.\nExperience with REST APIs and distributed application integrations.\nExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity.\nExperience developing automated data-validation or reconciliation solutions.\nExperience with financial-services data feeds or transaction-processing systems.\nFamiliarity with C#/.NET applications.\nHourly range $65- 75/hr\nBroadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.\nWe are dedicated to fostering a collaborative, engaging, and inclusive environment and are committed to providing a workplace that empowers associates to be authentic and bring their best to work.
