If you’re passionate about developing your career, while helping others along the way, come join the Broadridge team.\nJoin us as a Lead DevOps Engineer supporting low-latency trading infrastructure and business-critical financial systems across cloud and on-prem environments.\nThis hands-on technical lead role focuses on designing, automating, and supporting highly available platforms in partnership with engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.\nIt is an opportunity to improve reliability, scalability, security, and delivery while advancing DevOps, platform engineering, observability, and AI-enabled infrastructure tooling.\nResponsibilities\nLead the design and evolution of scalable, secure, and highly available trading infrastructure.\n\nProvide technical direction, mentorship, and guidance to engineers while remaining an active hands-on contributor across DevOps, automation, infrastructure, and platform engineering initiatives.\n\nBuild and improve automated CI/CD pipelines for Java and Python applications across multiple environments.\n\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, configuration, database schema creation, and operational workflows across cloud and on-prem platforms.\n\nSupport production systems with a focus on high availability, disaster recovery, incident response, vulnerability management, patching, and change management.\n\nContainerize applications and support deployments using container orchestration platforms.\n\nPartner with development teams to understand application codebases and architecture, improving deployment, monitoring, and operational readiness.\n\nUse infrastructure as code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Chef, or Ansible to drive consistency and repeatability.\n\nTroubleshoot complex deployment, performance, networking, and infrastructure issues, with an emphasis on preventing recurring manual fixes through automation.\n\nUse AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate development, automation, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational workflows.\n\nIdentify, design, and help implement AI-enabled operational capabilities for infrastructure automation, observability, incident response, and platform engineering.\n\nContribute to the strategy for safe, practical, and secure adoption of AI across infrastructure and DevOps practices.\n\nLead and participate in Agile delivery practices, using Jira to manage priorities, plan work, track delivery, communicate dependencies, and provide clear status across infrastructure and application initiatives.\n\nCollaborate with global teams, vendors, and stakeholders on support issues, release schedules, system administration needs, and platform improvements.\n\nEstablish and promote best practices for CI/CD, observability, reliability, cloud operations, and infrastructure automation.\n\nRequirements\nLeadership & Delivery\nHands-on technical lead experience. Mentoring and guiding engineers.\n\nAgile delivery experience, including planning, prioritization, backlog refinement, sprint ceremonies, dependency management, and delivery tracking across distributed teams.\n\nExperience using Jira or similar tools.\n\nStrong communication skills and the ability to drive issues to resolution with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nSystems & Automation\nLinux/Unix administration, operational support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.\n\nScripting/programming in Python, Bash, or similar.\n\nCI/CD pipeline experience with Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.\n\nContainerization and artifact publishing.\n\nInfrastructure as code and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or similar.\n\nInfrastructure & Operations\nStrong understanding of networking, routing, and traffic flow across distributed systems.\n\nKnowledge of high availability, resiliency, capacity, and latency considerations.\n\nExperience supporting customer-facing, low-latency, high-availability, or other business-critical platforms.\n\nMonitoring, logging, and observability experience, including tools such as Splunk or similar.\n\nCross-functional collaboration with application, network, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.\n\nCloud & Containers\nKubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
