We are currently hiring a Mail Processing Clerk for our South Windsor, CT location.\nBasic Purpose: Ensure daily operational work flow is met by moving the mailing trays along the Automated Container Line (ACL) and into trucks. Reports to supervisor.\nJob Responsibilities:\nSleeves and bundles trays, according to USPS and company standards, places them on pallets and shrink-wraps loads. Drives a pallet jack to move pallets and load into the trucks.\nAbility to follow in-depth work instructions and keep work flowing at the optimal pace to match the conditions.\nMonitors and is responsible for quality throughout each job. Completes all required documentation relevant to every job. May research and resolve problems resulting from diverted tray and may perform simple repairs on the ACL (e.g. clear jams).\nFollows all departmental and safety procedures.\nMay perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience within a production environment, with knowledge of postage rates and material confirmation\nExperience in the operation of material insert machines is necessary.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nSkills/Competencies:\nAttention to detail, sound judgment and prioritizing skills\nAbility to adhere to all quality standards\nAbility to take direction and to work with a sense of urgency\nComputer skills a plus\nRequirements:\nAbility to stand and work throughout duration of assigned shifts\nRequires standing for 12-hour shifts, pulling, pushing and lifting up to 70 lbs.\nFlexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, holidays and/or overtime\nPromote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridge’s policies\nShift : (EWN) (6pm to 6am)\nHourly rate: $18.75 hourly - Bonus eligible\nWe are dedicated to fostering a collaborative, engaging, and inclusive environment and are committed to providing a workplace that empowers associates to be authentic and bring their best to work.
