The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets through diligent monitoring and response activities. This will be a Day Shift role from the hours of 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM PT\nResponsibilities\nMonitor and operate the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system, event alarms, and access control systems to ensure continuous security coverage.\nMaintain and update security records, including key control, ID/access badge issuance, electronic inventory logs, and the historical logbook.\nOversee and regulate personnel access into the facility to safeguard restricted and sensitive areas.\nConduct fire safety inspections and other routine facility checks as directed.\nPerform initial investigations of incidents and notify appropriate authorities of any procedural or policy breaches.\nSupport the protection of assets and personnel by maintaining situational awareness and reporting any irregularities or security concerns promptly.\nExecute additional duties as assigned by Site Security Management or Facility Leadership\nQualifications\nProficiency with computers, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).\nStrong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with Security, Facilities, and other departmental teams.\nKeen observation skills and a vigilant, proactive approach to identifying and reporting potential security issues.\nPrior security or control room experience preferred but not required.\nSalary rate is $18.00 hourly.
