The Principal Full Stack Software Engineer is an Individual Contributor role responsible for designing, engineering, deploying, and managing architecture for specified products. This position oversees and optimizes the design of the financial applications in consultation\nResponsibilities:\nLeads design roadmap, discussions, and development for Development team.\n Ensures compliance with corporate enterprise standards and policies.\nDevelops, implements, and champions the adoption of design and coding best practices and standards.\nLeads development and implementation of appropriate ensures compliance.\nMay manage day-to-day work of professional/technical staff or serve as project manager for significant projects with broad impact to business enterprise performance.\nProvides architecture subject matter expertise to business and development groups. Evaluates new technologies and consistently generates new ideas.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent degree related field preferred.\n15+ years’ experience in software design\nComprehensive knowledge of software architecture, management practices and processes.\nPossesses expert knowledge of N-tier web-based software applications built on Java-centric technology stack.\nDeep understanding and familiarity of AWS stack with focus on serverless and microservices technologies.\nAdvanced skills and wide experience working with SQL databases (SQL Server or Oracle).\nDeep understanding of SQL and advanced SQL tuning skills.\nFamiliarity with OLAP databases (e.g., Snowflake) is a plus.\nAdvanced analytic and diagnostic skills.\nDemonstrated advanced interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.\nAbility to work independently and as a part of a team.\nDemonstrated ability to influence others across levels of organization and to lead others.\nThorough understanding of the business functions, processes, and overall business strategies.\nDemonstrated ability to see results to completion and to lead others to do so as well.\nAdvanced business acumen.\nAbility to consider others’ ideas seriously and accept feedback.\nAbility to think strategically.\nThis is a hybrid role and requires 2-3 days in the Boston office.\nCompensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $175,000 - $195,000 USD.
