We are seeking a Production Manager to join our dynamic team in Edgewood, NY. In this role, you will ensure all production operations are completed to appropriate standards and deadlines. Tou will manage and administer department budgets, forecasts, policies and procedures. You will be responsible for all personnel administration functions within the department and promoting an atmosphere that encourages and fosters high teamwork and strong ethics. Production Managers develop and provide leadership to team members.\nThis is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.\nResponsibilities:\nCoordinate and/or facilitate training and development of staff through coaching, mentoring and training. Conduct associate development, counseling and the disciplinary process. Assist with associates’ diverse issues. Ensure associates comply with all policies, procedures and safety guidelines. Prepare and conduct written performance appraisals; document and counsel on performance/accountabilities.\nMaintain the capacity to support present and future production volumes including focus on new products, technologies and industry standards, as well as labor requirements. \nManage activities, workflow and scheduling of operations staff and/or functions.\nAnalyze new processes and opportunities to further streamline the operational process to make the overall operation more efficient and ensure the highest possible level of quality.\nCommunicate with external customers and internal departments to ensure the meeting of schedules and the resolution of problems. Participate in client meetings and facilitate tours as required.\nPrepare, manage, and are accountable for budgets and goals for one or more departments.\nInterview candidates and make hiring recommendations/decisions. Make termination recommendations and conduct terminations as necessary.\nParticipate in staff meetings; provide reports to management; research and resolve discrepancies.\nMay perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned.\nRequirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years of related experience including supervisory experience\nPost-secondary education; experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment preferred\nExcellent PC skills. Must possess strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel).\nMust have strong analytical skills to be able to effectively consolidate and report critical information to management.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and management at multiple levels.\nSolid organizational skills. Must be able to effectively multi-task and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Must be able to work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure.\nMust be detail-oriented and able to review jobs before they are inserted and after to ensure that they meet quality standards.\nMust be a self-starter and demonstrate strong initiative.\nMust be flexible to work various shifts, overtime, including weekends & holidays.\nMust demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast paced and demanding operational environment.\nSome travel (trade shows, seminars, equipment manufacturers and other Broadridge facilities) as required.\nThe salary range for this position is: $92,520.00 - $120,840.00 annually based on experience.
