In the initial role you will be primarily focused on a recently commenced 2-year program, but you will also be expected to contribute to a wider set of projects as required.\nCandidates must be confident and self-motivated with excellent communication skills, demonstrating a strong track record of project delivery in an investment banking environment. Ideally having worked for a solution provider or alternatively experienced in vendor management from a client perspective. You will be familiar with post-trade processing in an investment banking environment and be confident in their knowledge of lifecycle of a range of financial instruments.\nResponsibilitie s\nProviding overall leadership for the project while maintaining a focus on achieving results efficiently, ensuring that projects are appropriately resourced and skilled\nClient liaison including the development and presentation of project plans, progress reports and acceptance by the client of the final product, including participation in client workshops\nInternal senior stakeholder management and close liaison with development and support teams\nEnsure appropriate allocation and skilling of resources and their effective deployment throughout the project.\nCoordinate with our global product delivery groups in UK, Europe, APAC, US and India, ensuring deliveries meet overall project needs.\nWorking closely with these teams and helping them to deliver to their obligations, provide mentoring and guidance\nActive involvement in managing the project to contractual obligations of all parties and the management of change control to those obligations.\nFinancial, technical and schedule reporting\nEnsure the programme is delivered to internal policies and controls.\nRisk management and problem solving\nActive engagement with clients, third parties and suppliers\nThe development of project plans, including delivery, testing, logistics, in-service support, training and documentation.\nYour Profile\nMinimum 3 years experience in project delivery within an investment banking environment and experience of large scale integration projects.\nStrong experience of vendor / client relationship management, preferably from the vendor perspective.\nA good understanding of the post-trade lifecycle, in one or more of the following areas; Reconciliations, Settlement, Corporate Actions/Asset Servicing and Trade Accounting/Sub-ledger\nExcellent organisational and planning skills\nStrong leadership qualities and self-motivated\nAbility to work effectively under pressure, with a flexible approach to work, within a dynamic and fast-paced environment\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with both business and technology stakeholders at any level\nGreat interpersonal skills and the ability to influence effective outcomes\nCritical-thinking and time critical problem-solving skills\nExperience of different project delivery methodologies and the ability to manage to combine these, depending on project needs.\nDemonstrated contract and general negotiation skills experience\nPrior Experience of working with global, distributed and matrixed organisations\nFormal project management qualification\nWe are dedicated to fostering a collaborative, engaging, and inclusive environment and are committed to providing a workplace that empowers associates to be authentic and bring their best to work.
